Dude you are awesome but 1 thing, the moment i do the same instruction as u do, it tells me to connect the iPod to itunes to restore, so the time i disconnect it from the charger, it fades out and then shows very low battery, can you please tell me what else i need to do or should i just wait till it fires up

thats fucking crazy, but it didnt work for mine because mines an internal parts problem due to my tampering but it did reset the ipod, if you guys are having other trouble you can throw the ipod into a test mode with the middle and previous button right after holding the menu and middle button
