I was at the game just near this and that mark typified North that night against a team that was supposed to kill us. I remember it as being one of our great finals win against a hated finals opponent from the 70s. In the space of five years we played them ten times in finals in the mid 70s and the rivalry is way more dramatic than Hawthorns with Essendon. I also remember we were very very outnumbered by big headed Hawthorn supporters that night. A great North Melbourne victory
