I was at KSC yesterday. I saw FTETTM at least 10 times. Apollo 13 too. I am just old enough to remember the 60s. I walked in yesterday and saw the rocket garden and.... wept with joy. I heard this song last night when we went out to eat afterwards. Best day I've ever had doing tourist stuff.
Dinah's singing style is the epitome of class and elegance. Always tasteful with her phrasing, and in control of her instrument. In my estimation, she was one of the greatest singers of the 20th century. Timeless!
Lyrics are by Marvin Fisher and Roy Alfred. Great to sing with the full sound of a big swing band. Both Deborah Cox and Nat King Cole recorded it (1950)
with the following addition:
There once was a time when the colorful thing to do
There is a version by Nat King Cole that is hard to find, also there is a remake of this version by Deborah Cox that can be found right here on YouTube.
There's also a duet version with Connie Haines and Bob Crosby (younger brother of Bing and a popular band leader and personality in his own right). I don't think this version is posted on You Tube though. You can find it on one of Connie Haines cd's though, titled Nightingale from Savannah. There are probably other versions, too, but that's the only one I can think of right now.

I happen to be employed by a large, prestigious medical school on the west coast, am degreed PLUS have certification in my industry with fifteen years professional experience. I have millions of dollars worth of data and equipment in my hands on a daily basis.
If you're an MD, that means you should know better than to act like a child over something as unimportant as a reply in a discussion forum.
BTW, I went for an FAA flight physical (third class) earlier this year and they wouldn't pass me without agreeing to go on 20MG of lisinopril because my BP was over their limit. They did a full eval and didn't find anything. Side effects from the med are minimal but I don't want to be on it. How much difference would losing ~30 lbs make in my case?
The building I work in is loaded with either MDs or combination MD/Ph.Ds (more of the latter than I ever thought existed) and NONE of them act like you!
Dinah Washington died in December 14, 1963.so she didn't knew anything
about moonlanding(1969)But the track is masterpiece.

Actually I already know that the moonlanding was NOT a fake (only conspiracy theorists believe that nonsense).

@protaxcuts
If the moon landing was a fake, you'd never be able to shut Buzz Aldrin up.

If the moon landing was a fake, you wouldn't be able to shut Buzz Aldrin up about it. He never stops talking anyway.

@OldSchooLoverBoy Yep and all those 40,000 people working on that "fake" project managed to keep their mouth shut #LOL ....clown.....

And the continued shallowness of your replies is a fairly strong indicator that you don't have the credentials you claim to have.

Has Tom Hanks written all over it but that's okay.
Great stuff.

Yeah and, Band of Brothers also has Tom Hanks written all over it and have you read the reviews for it on IMDB? You're an idiot...sigh
