I LOVE the grittiness of Glitter. It reminds me of the original Fame. I wish the film would've gone a bit darker, but it was not a bad film by any means. I would have liked to see more backstory with alcoholic mom and prodigy daughter. More drugs, more decadence. It was the 80's where's the coke! The ending just tears me up though. Highly underrated film.
