@tas9195 No he was actually on his clean channel, as i can see in the video. I wanna know wich distortion pedal he's using haha because it sound amazing !
No he is not, he is playing on the lead channel, I have this amp and just by listening I can tell you that, and because the light on the lead channel is on also.
Manchiscap ... The light that you can see in the lead chanel is the XL button, but here the green light is on the clean channel ... look the vid in HQ :-)
Jamie, that is one awesome guitar. Of course a guitar would be useless with a good player. You are simply an absolutely masterful player with brilliant techniques and styles.
The UK - as far as I know there aren't any DOS stockists here atm so I'll have to drool from afar ^^ (being short on cash at the moment and having not played guitar in 15 years after an injury are also contributing factors)
The Carpatelli looks very nice by the way - I'd also love an SG1000/24 version of that :)
I dislike silver hardware - its brash and gaudy but thats only a personal consideration and definately not of great import :)
No matter how "flash" the guitar player the aesthetics of the guitar are only of secondary importance to the tone produced and I think that the combination of amp/guitar here produces a very, very good tone especially considering the price of the amp.
i understand exactly what you mean! yeah those amps are so exciting to play at the shop! and if you called silver hardware gaudy what would you call gold lol :)? also that guitar i have tried it a few times it is BEAUTIFUL!
Oddly enough, gold with the right combination of really beautiful woods can look really nice somtimes but you have to be very careful or it just ends up looking like too much bling :)
Makes me wish I was in the US so I could persuade myself to try playing guitar again with one of those JR-7 models!
actually im looking at a guitar from dot on shaft right now that is called the Carpatelli. it has this black flamed maple top with gold it is the most classiest thing you will EVER SEE! so if ur not in the states (or Canada) where are you that you cant play guitar?
What guitar are you using? Excellent tone and playing!

Kewel stuff Jamie. What pedals did you use here? I find I can get a very similar tone without any from my 333XL's.

What amp did you play in this video, 'cause it clearly wasnt the 333xl (although it does sound equally amazing)?

It is the 333xl actually I was just running pedals through it. Thanks for checking out my videos.

turn the amp up a little so you don't hear the strings slopping around...but great tone...

Superb tone and playing - the only criticism I would have is that the guitar would look even better with black hardware :)
MercutioUK2006 3 years ago
it wouldnt really match "his" style from what i have seen.
