  • Thank you for posting this video!! I actually posted in on my Art Room Facebook fan page so my students can check it out (ironically they had a "snow day" today so they got to stay home from school due to icy conditions)!!

Lots of neat facts I'm sure they'll enjoy. I know I did. Thank you!! :-)

  • @WhirlGirl101 Thank you. Pass the word. It took a long time to get the photos timed with the music. I moved from Alaska a year ago and I really miss the championship. However, each year, I would spend so long outside in teh sub zero weather taking pictures that I would literally freeze my camera.

The ice art championships are in March and they usually have webcams so you can watch them being carved.

  • @WhirlGirl101

By the way, did you notice the picture of the one wolf that was "going after" the caribou was actually a sculpture balancing on on one "paw"? There was a LOT of math involved in gettin that centered!

  • Great choice of music. I am a professional ice carver, and I am telling you that you've presented the ice very well. Great job.

  • @wingdingdeli Thank you. I enjoyed taking the pictures and spent a lot of time getting the photos to go along with the music.

  • Beautiful sculpture, beautiful song.
