  • This scared me... Freaking tiny hands man!

  • can i have instruction on how to build it?

  • Well can solve it faster myself

  • pssshhhhhh beginners method

  • ZOMG another great idea came to me when i was watching this if u hook it up to a car battery it could prob solve in bout 1 minute lol

  • ZOMG its its.........WALL-E

  • did that robot use beginners method to solve the cube?

  • i dont need a robot to solve one...my rubiks cube can solve itself

    watch?v=6cKfjqwiqt0&feature=channel_video_title

    jk jk

  • I can do it 3x faster naa that too difocult you should now give it a day off. Cool robot 5 stars

  • Hi, i am bluiding a rubik's cube solver myself for a school project, and am kind ofstuck on how to make the arm hold the cube in place and flip it over with one motor... u seem to have found a great solution for it, any chance u can share it with me ? would help me a great deal :)

  • woooooooOOoOooOoOOow omg

  • I can do it faster! :P

    cool

  • that is sick

were do u get those lego nxt robots from

  • Nice Robot, I have one Question: Remembers the Robot all colors and solve it "Blind foldet"?

  • good job cool cube solver !

  • it takes alt of moves BUT thats the smothest turning movement i´ve seen so far, good work!

  • idk why, but this robot scares me...

  • It looks like a little person doing weaving.

  • I know somebody who built a quite similar robot that finishs the cube in 5 min

But your work is nice too (:

  • How much money do you want for me to buy your machine ? It looks really good i think i will buy it if u do sell it!

  • this is owesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • omg have you coded every single action for this or have you got them somewere else? nice work!!!!

  • THIS IS AWSOME the arms that move the cube is a little creppy but this is awsome!!!!

  • creepy cuz it's human like? i thought so too. It's alive!

  • be proud of your self man... thats awesome

  • wow this is awsome

  • Now my head hurts!

  • it looks so alive :)

  • That has to be one of the coolest tilt movements i've eve seen!, have you seen the latest lego solver that can do the 4x4x4 yet?

    CHECK IT OUT!!!!

  • subscribe to me plz :)

  • super cool

  • i bet it took u a lot of time to get a working prog... nice work :D

  • I love the way it actually uses a method instead of just searching through possible moves and finding one that works. Slower but more interesting.

  • that takes a while to solve but nicley done

  • awesome man

  • omg. awesome!

  • Coolest looking 1 i found so far... although not the fastest solver.

  • i love it :D

  • nice cube u have, what type is that?

  • haha, it is a cube made in China.

    The brand is "国甲"

  • k, any cube i use is made in china, chinese diy is the best brand :P

  • Thats genius, but is it just parts from the box??

  • I know how to solve a rubik's cube with alchoritms and I see the robot solve it the same way as my alchoritms, so this is a real one!! It's not a fake robot that only can solve it if you scramble it like one way...

  • OMG, so good, can't say a thing about it except how to you make it?

  • ive been working on an nxt cube solver for two years and i still cant make one

  • Fantastic thing.

The arm design is industrial-grade indeed!

  • can you make the file for it on here?

    btw good job

  • lol dude thats cool

  • Nice job! Really like the arm mechanism.

  • The way the robot turns the cube makes me smile a bit. Carefully like a mother handels her baby. xD . cool stuff 5/5

  • excellent job! this is the first cube solver ive seen that works solely on nxt + uses the 5 step process to do the solve, the turning of the cube is fluid and better than all the others!

for everyone else "cube explorer 4.64" is the pc based solution generator that uses a webcam to input the positions of the cublets and generate a 15-17 step solution!!!

  • Thanks :)

This NXT is using color sensor and CFOP solution. It need more than 100 steps to solve a cube. I have found the algorithm you mentioned, it is faster but must connect to computer :)

  • @kipp8 - actually I think Tilted Twister was the first NXT-only solver but this one is still equally impressive! Not all other solvers use Cube Explorer, or a PC for that matter! For example, all my solvers use my own algorithms including and some use a mobile phone instead of laptop ;-)

  • Do you have plans on how to build and a program for it?

  • yes, I have writen a program for it. The program is follow the real steps I solve a rubik's cube. So it has a lot of "if ... else..."

The program is not good enough, it need more than 100 steps to solve from a normal status.

  • have you seen the tilted twister's programming, you could get ideas from that one.

  • do you use LUA to script?

  • too slow.

  • robots are going to take over the world

  • by solving rubic cubes?

  • wow cool

  • Nice!

  • 没啥说的了!厉害!专业的!呵呵!

  • really cool!
