How do you make the sides on the grid haybin? I want a haybin made of 2 grids because I have a piggy and his brother (and best friend in the whole world) had passed away so I want to get him a friend, but I can only find a pair of two boys... should I get the tw? I'm getting a 2x3 for just the bed area and then a 2x2 for the kitchen area.. its the only way I can fit C&C cages on my table. Can someone tell me if I should get the two piggies,if my cage sizes are ok, & how to make the haybin sides?

@PhantasyStardumb - You should get the two :) But you'll need a bigger cage. 2x3 is only suitable for one or two pigs. A 2x5 is more appropriate.

ACtually its a homemade cage called a C&C Cage. Its really cheap about under $60 u can search it up online on how to build one theres actually a vid of how to build one online

I would be worried about them jumping over the edge. Whenever I have them in a two story, they always want to get to where the other pigs are in the lower area so they just "slide" off. If they were that high they would really hurt themselves. How do you keep them in?

What is that you line the cage with? Do they ever turn over the eating containers? I have an attached one because if not they turn it over. I just started a kitchen and my first guinea would do his business there, but i got a new guinea and he goes everywhere and alot like piles of the doo.

How do they mellow out... i have a jumper he never lets me rub him. The other seems to be warming up.
