Paint Pots just don't go on my eyes smoothly... it looks chuncky. Is it just me or does anyone else have this issue? I wanted to get some more color if anyone has any tips... otherwise I guess paint pots are not for me.

Take some of the product and put it on the back of your hand and rub it with your finger to warm it up then apply. I find the Sephora 25 black brush works best for applying paint pots or use a clean ring finger. Hope it helps.

it depends on how you apply them. paint pots also tend to dry out if you don't screw the top on securely, so check to see if thats the issue. The frosty ones are a little chunky. I like to use a fluffy brush like a mac 217 to apply them and that makes it go on smoothly for me. Hope that helps!

my mom uses studio tech in nc44 too! i use it as more of a highlight or I layer it over an orangey/peachy blush for more dimension. i'm a iittle lighter than you and it doesn't give me much color on its own either.
