this is a nice review, but may I suggest that you put a layer of paint on the pegs of the back wings and the ones connected to the feather parts, just to give it more stability

The wings rubber on mine are ok but the, wing mechanism sucks balls it may open but it fall apart and u can't glue it or it wont move it

I wonder, what if Wing Zero could have another pair of wings, i dont think it'll upset it's balance too much, i would personally love to do this myself but frankly i'm still under aged and can't get a job but maybe someone whose willing too make a Wing Zero Custom to Wing Zero Custom (whatever name preferred) would be just super and awesome to see, Four separate wings spreading out, might out shine SF, and i am a big SF fan, and i saw what you did with Exia and SF which was Genuis :D

I remember getting this kit and setting it up so that the Eye and Chest light up with LEDs, and repainted it to resemble the "Hikaru Special" in the Gengeki Hobby Magazine in May 2001 if I can recall. all the inner frame pieces and the joints were painted black to improve it's stability, as well as to help hold the TBR better(can hold it suprisingly well 1-handed now, and I may do a ver 2.0, but my first custom came out nice :D

maybe bandai designed the wings to pop off all the time to simulate wing zero's lame death in endless waltz (its death wasnt that lame because of the awesome music and his uber buster rifle)

If you paint it, it will help keep the feathers on.  Also, the superglue trick will help tighten up the main wing joint to the backpack. There are just minor issues with this kit.

Even though I have this kit almost a year, I watched your review, and i am feeling lucky, because mine doesn't had any of this problem, the only one, of course, being to him hold his beam rifle, and actually, he kinda can. But my wings doens't have any problem after a year long of changing poses again and again ;p.

katoki did designed the endless waltz mobile suits. So technically they are all ver ka. They have just been branded as EW versions.

Huh, I really had no problems with this kit. The wings on the back are actually pretty tight. The rubber stays on pretty well for me. It was also a pretty fun build too. Great kit, just wished it had the peg in the hands so it could hold the weapons better.

This kit was my first MG...

I had problems with the wings as they don't like to stay in position and kept falling down. Also the hands can't really hold the buster rifles..

the reason for the shoulder track is for the re-entry mode. putting the shoulders down will give you more room to maneuver the wings.

@Prime92 This is a cool kit, but Bandai needs to a a "EW" version and update the inner frame (make it a full frame), fix the wings & backpack (more stable, more articulation), fix the hands so it can hold the Buster Rifle, clear green parts instead of clear with stickers under, etc.

@suiton629 Dude, you're just doing something wrong. My WZC is a few years old now, and only 3 times has a wing petal fallen off and I haven't even put any superglue on the ball joints. I can also make it hold the twin buster rifle outstretched in one hand, and it has never dropped it (I haven't modified either hand in any way). Green parts can easily be fixed with paint, or even a sharpie if you have to. Wing Zero's frame is mostly complete, it doesn't need a frame update like Hyaku Shiki.

@suiton629 Those winglets should be pegs instead of ball joints. But they should update the hands. The green parts aren't as important to Wing zero as they are with a 00 kit.

tbh the small problems with the wings where to be expected and arent that much of a problem once you got him posed on your stand dont think you can really call it a problem or hold it as a mark against the kit
