@BloodyGaaraOfSand ....it is a old Chinese superstition if a newly dead fetus is fed blood the ghost of the fetus will grow strong and serve the owner, bringing wealth and power. The ghost will also kill on command. In the movie such was the way of a certain family for several generations until a error in judgement is made. Can't say any more...more details will be spoilers. Watch and enjoy.
