you know, there are some women in this world (such as myself) who can't have children would give anything for a baby let alone a family of her own. Michelle Duggar meanwhile has 19 going on 20 kids!! Most infertile women would be happy with just a small amount of children (what's the average now? 4? 5?) But Mrs. Duggar has all of these kids! why didn't she stop?

It's offending that the one person hates that she talks to her children about god and the person says god doesn't exist. The world needs more people like the duggars. But they aren't allowed to dance, it reminds me of footloose. Dancing does not need to be suggestive and isn't a crime, dancing is in the bible. I understand their point of view though. But you can dance in a way that's good like ballroom or ballet dancing.

This is an amazing family. They are doing what God has called them to do. How many of us can say that today? That no matter the price, the work, the late nights and early mornings, we will decide to do what God has called us to do... and count it all joy.... wow. Great job and keep up the good work.

@fornow100000 You're completely ignorant to their situation, and make yourself look like such a fool speaking. They actually have no debt, and this was before TLC ever did ONE show on them. Jim Bob owns quite a few businesses, they shop at thrift stores and Aldi's for food, and he was also in the House of Representatives. You may not agree with their lifestyle, but they actually are more self sufficient than most people, let alone most families in America.

@fornow100000 Nope, they have never lived on tax dollar, JimBob has always worked, he got into real estate and bought several commercial buildings he rents out, they live completly debt free, were able to support this family before this show and I'm sure they're saving much of the money from the show...they will always be able to raise their family without government assistance and they minister to others.

I m sorry but They look like a bunch of out control rabbits. DId you hear about china's policy one child per family? It s is mandated by the country or there are consequences. The earth is running out of resources and if we all want to keep having at least one or two children some of us cannot have 20 per household. Got it? They are not following God's commend of sharing and moderation. If these feaks wants more kids why not adopt??????!!!

@fornow100000 God also says Br fruitful and reproduce.... he also says that EVERY child He gives you in a blessing. If ALL children are blessings form the Lord, why would you TRY not to have more? They don't try to have more, they leave it in God's hands and if He wills for them to have more then they will. I know of many people who do this and some have 12 kids and others only have 2 . It's all about trusting in the Lord regardless of what He has to offer you whether it be 20 or 2.

@UGodLuvs God said these words to the first people and not the whole nation . He didnt say hey Duggars Smiths Johnsons, Clarks be fruitful and make as many babies as you want. The message was wellcome each child wiht love, but he also said moderation in everthing including food and drinking. It s like you parents. While they want you to have it all and provide the best they can only do so much for a one or two children. It s not fair to the society one collects it all.

I def think that in certain situations (many) that people shouldn't be having this many children...but there are families out there that can completely and totally afford this many children, and do it with a low impact on the Earth. Living in this country we are so privileged to be able to walk down the street to a store and buy just about anything we could want or even think of...

@fornow100000 and I think that among other things has made us HUGE consumers. But there are families (such as thew Duggars) who have large families and live a relatively self sustainable life style. These people almost NEVER buy anything new...think...20 kids to recycle your clothes you give to a thrift shop. I think it all depends on HOW a family is living and if they are being concious of the Earth and their impact on it.

@fornow100000 Like me for instance, I would LOVE to have a large family (maybe not 20 kids persay lol) but I would LOVE to have 6 kids but I have 2 (because of circumstances the Lord has placed on my and my husbands lives) and if the Lord gives us 2 kids and we can never have more children then I am happy and trust Him to do what is right with my life. If He gives me more then I will trust that He also is looking out for us then...

THere is so many needy out there. If you have never experiences any of the above you wont know what i m talking about. You can theorize all you want and repeat minless formulas but wont know any of it until iit knock at your own door.

@fornow100000 My family and I live very frugally and I do everything I can to be a good steward of this Earth God has given to me to live on. We shop at thrift shops before we buy new, we cloth diaper our babies, shop at local farms...when we own our own house some day I hope to have some animals and a garden to be even more self sustainable. It's all about how you live the life God has given to you with the small amount or large amount of children He has given to you. :o)

@fornow100000 God told us to be fruitful and multiply, to replenish the Earth. Originally replenish meant "to fill." The definition was changed way back to "refill."  As Christians, a lot of us do that, and have 3+ kids because if God wants us to fill the Earth, who is it that thinks we shouldn't? hint: satan. I'm only having two myself, though. Bad bad pregnancies. =P Not trying to start an argument, just my 2 cents!

The Duggars are following Gods word. God said in Genesis "Be fruitful and multiply. He obviously meant, Have as many kids as possible.
