We are not in need of a defensive end right now, especially since no rookie DE is going to come in and be successful enough to make drafting one based on need worthwhile. Thus, the Vikings are looking for depth. Ray Edwards and Brian Robison will start. Jayme Mitchell and Otis Grigsby will get a chance be primary backups, along with any drafted defensive end.

the broncos game was a flash of how good tarvaris can be. i mean other than the fumble in ot. he came back from 19-3 with like 4 minutes left in the game. and was 2 for 2 rushing on two point conversions

That OT fumble wasn't even his fault. Cook could've stopped the blitz had he actually MOVED A SINGLE MUSCLE AT THE SNAP.

You're right, it wasn't. Half of the O-line had their hands pressed up against thin air because we didn't adjust for the stunt on the left side of the line and didn't pick up the late blitzer on the right side. Result: sandwich.
