When you have foundry objects merge into one another, ignoring the object's normal boundaries. It is used to give a map a much cleaner, more professional feel to it. Place an object, and then hit x for options. Set "place at start" to no, save your changes, and then start a new round. In the next round, the object won't be there at first, so quickly place another object, and later reset the "place at start" back to yes.

You should learn about interlocking in forge. Your maps are alright now, but if you used interlocking, they'd be downright spectacular.
