Whenever I select the pen tool, it's blue and you can't fine-tune the points. What's wrong with it?

@zetsu75 you should click first the layer you want to mask then start tracing it with pen tool you'll notice the yellow line. If it is yellow then you're already masking it :)

hi thanks. at 2:31 you end the path on letter "L" but then cut to the next letter without creating a new mask. how can I do it? When I try it just continues the same path but if I deselect the path and create another one it creates another mask.

hi, I'm having trouble where the stroke lines cross and reveal too much (see 5min23secs). When I try to adjust the brush size, it affects the whole thing, and not just the individual stroke that I want to adjust. Can anyone help please?

@billys21 I was able to resolve this with a simple workaround. I penned in the paths, as instructed, with a few separate paths (and therefore masks) for letters as looked appropriate. I then created a number of layers and cut and pasted each mask to each of those new layers. This then allowed a unique control to letter as it was revealed and to re-size each brush as wanted. I hope this helps others.
