I saw this band twice in San Francisco. They are good, but would much rather have seen a couple new Raconteurs albums. The highlight of the show is when Jack straps on his guitar and blazes. Also, it is a very hipster- oriented band, whereas the Raconteurs were pure rock. and Dead Weather play short sets, and both shows were identical. Patrick Keillor is a way better drummer whereas Dean is half the guitarist as Jack. Dead Weather is performance and theatrical, Raconteus just good music.

See, as a drummer myself, i think Jack White's drumming is legendary. I know he's not a Bonham, or a Ringo, but a lot of the drummers there are today can't exactly pull off what he's doing. I'm also not very well informed so i could be wrong lol, but I LOVE his drumming.

@chrispy125 u are so right... jack white always makes something new out of an instrument. instead of using double pedal and trying to play very very fast e just does strong, simple, yet some times hard, beats that sound incredible when played with a full band. and he uses a kit made for him and arranged by him in terms of position that has the most amasing sound.
