  • Comment removed

  • My house in Ohio has the same woodwork on the doorways.

  • was the house built ''just for the film''? ,you guys went upstairs and it looked like nothing on the second floor..

  • I'm just waiting for leatherface to jump out !!!!!!

  • Cemetery: 400 Bagdad rd 78641 look past the two trees that flank the gravel driveway and you see the creepy pointed tombstone the corpse was tied to.

  • You can see it now w google maps street view. 1400 Hester's Crossing 78681. Cow pasture across the street. I live about .75 miles from here... Remember. The movie was filmed here but the same true story also inspired the movie Fargo. Look it up.

  • wtf happin in there

  • Man I would of loved to fix up the house and live there :)

  • you geza's r fuckin mental

i think i'd literaly shit myself if i went there

  • too bad both movies sucked and ed gein sucked too

  • @iotaminnesota Yeah, it's hard to remake a classic

  • So cool to see the last footage of the house before it was moved. Thanks for sharing guys.

  • Is That Good ol Jr

  • For those who dont know the one released in 2003 is a REMAKE! The original was released in 1974 and filmed at quick hill TX this is the house.

  • that's not the real one ... I think

  • why do I have the feeling that the first video to the right is the second part?

  • Pretty awesome, guys.

  • lol thats how ppl get killed in the movie!! ya are crazy!! brave bastards

  • lol you guys sound just like leatherface's family

  • You guys Remind me of the two chickens in the Foster Farms commercials!

  • @universalautobroker We'll just take that as a compliment considering we don't get many on here. lol

  • @ktron70 omfg at 2:30 why you walk so fucking slow?

  • wheres the basment??

  • @619ROCKSTARZ See video description

  • You traveled 1000 miles to see a abandoned house and the wrong one at it? Omfg.

  • @lisakn27 You younguns just kill me

  • @lisakn27 This IS the right house. Someone purchased it and moved it since this video was made. You need to do more research before you comment. Just sayin`!!!!

  • What would you have done if you heard a chainsaw start up outside when you were in the house? Its a good thing there wasnt some jackass with a mask and a chainsaw out there to fuck with you guys.

  • @drewlaplanche good idea tho

  • u guys should have went at night

  • is part 2 with leatherface?

  • I live in Round Rock, should I be scared? Because I'm not.

  • i'll start bookin it. if leather face was still alive. i'll fuckin be outa there! lol.

  • was it scary to get in there ?

  • what the hell do you think happened to the dam door? letherface sawed it off. but guys i got all the movies and i really dont think that is the dam house. but set down and twist one up. he looks scared as fuck standing at the door.

  • @moviesforrandy You doubters out there need to realize that there are more than two movies in the series

  • this is not even a true even ya dumb fukin hicks

  • @Mr1derful713 Yes there really was some guy going around with a chainsaw in Texas. But it didn't exactly happen like that. If you watch the newest one it was made in 2006 I think,it tells you the true story at the ending and it says he's one of the most sadistic serial killer still to this day.

  • @Dysfuncti00nal @Dysfuncti00nal WRONG! he was based on a killer called Ed Gein and he only killed 1 person, the rest of the bodies were stolen from cemetries, he wasn't even a cannibal, the only truth in the whole film is that he did actually wear masks of other humans, and his house was full of skeletons, he didn't even use a chainsaw in real life, that was made up, check if you don't believe me

  • Good Job!

Thanks from Japanese fun of this movie

  • Cool video guys.Im a big horror movie fan myself..

  • Cinema history! Great video! Thanks!

  • Awesome video, I do however wish it was still in its original location- having said that at least it hasn't just been torn down.

  • YOU GUYS GOT SOME BALLS TO GO THERE :)

  • to all you doubters....and spell checkers and persons who think this is fake.....

I got something to tell you weenies.....IT IS NOT....THIS IS THE REAL HOUSE THE ORIGINAL MOVIE WAS FILMED IN....NOT THE CHEESY REMAKES.

You should be thanking these guys for going out in the boonies and blistering Texas heat to show us all some soon to be lost movie history.

I know they are right because I went there before any of you were even born yet..right after wrap + 10 yrs later.

  • Thanks for posting this......I was here 10 yrs earlier......high school memories.

only difference then in 1988 , some one was living there and loved the fact that the house was in "the Texas chainsaw massacre" movie so much....that they would dress up like leather face and his "clan" and chase people that came to see their house.....usually on the weekends.

They posted signs up on the property that said " TURN BACK , OR GET HACKED!" "BEWARE OF LEATHER FACE" "GRANDPA'S HUNGRY , PLEASE KNOCK"

  • Almost looks like a set up for a REAL horror movie.

  • I smell beaners....

  • read what it say's!!! this is the house they "filmed" the movie, its not the actuall house were it happend in real life!!

  • @barry27able uh it never happened in real life, nutjob. Based off Ed Gein. That's bout it.

  • I believe this is the Burkland Frisk home, the sister home to the real TCM one. There were 3 houses built in the early 1900's from George Franklin Barber house plan kits, almost identical, all on the same hill. One burned down I believe. In the final scene when Sally jumps out the window & runs down the driveway you can see two chimneys off the roof. That house was the one they filmed in & it was moved in 1998 to Kingland Texas and is a restaurant. Very warm, but not hot : ) Very cool footage

  • @CUPCAKEQUEEN71 Thanks. I'm trying to get the original 8mm tape converted to digital. The Ultimate Edition

  • @CUPCAKEQUEEN71 This is the house from the film. Tim Harden documented my videos and pics on his site a few years back. It is the real deal. The chimneys had been removed for the moving. Watching the film Headcheese and you can see the car with bullet holes sitting in the same location. We filmed this in August 1998, the same month it was moved. The sister house was located on down the south side of Quick Hill and moved in 2000.

  • was this before they moved it and remodeled it?

  • you guys are so fucken dum thats the rong house travled 1000 miles for nothing

  • @grimstone22 And he says we're fucking dumb. If you would read the video description, you might realize what's going on. Also, there is a site called Google that you can use to research things before you make irrational posts like this. And they have spell check too so you improve your curse word spelling

  • @grimstone22 We took the footage to Jim the star of the movie he confirmed it.It is the real deal.Check the facts you fucking dumb ass.And learn how to spell.

  • @grimstone22 WRONG fucking dum. they are not dumb just smokeing some kick ass pot.

  • Thats not even the right house?

  • @multimartianboy why not?

  • was this the real house or was it just the house from the movie?

  • @jmau94 Yeah. By the way, what is a real TCM house?

  • your shoes sound like songebob's shoes

  • @iRepWickedClownsz Thanks. I miss those shoes

  • isnt ed gein a totally different person...

ist the leatherface guy Thomas Brown Hewitt

  • Type in "Ed Gene" to see the documentary and movie Psyco based off his murders.

  • @SuperPoloking22 its not based on a true story it was a thing they did back then to get the attention of viewers. The director him self said that he got the idea when he saw a crowd of people and chainsaws on sale. although there was a murder who did indeed wear skin masks but he was story was completely different

  • @aznredragon629 Ur so full of crap. Don't talk about stuff u do not now. I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, so were my parents. The actaul murders took place in Travis County TX just outside Austin. It was ALL in the newspapers!! My grandparents and parents have the actual papers. And no the director said he got the idea to do the movie on these murders when he saw chainsaws. U can't tell me. Ive read and seen the papers. Ed Gene from Wisconsin is not the same thing....

  • @Klove1016 This house was in Round Rock and in a movie. That's what we're here to talk about. I thought the "true story" debunking went away 5 or 10 years ago. And no, i'm not going to ask you for those newspaper clippings

  • @aznredragon629 Ur so full of crap. Don't talk about stuff u do not now. I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, so were my parents. • @aznredragon629 ...he murdered people in a similar way and the movie Pshyco was based off his murders NOT Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Hewitt Family was the real name of the real people who did all this in Travis Co. Texas outside of Austin in the 70's.

  • This was just the movie house in Round Rock.

  • ahh i live in austin. its not there anymore?!

  • why?? I thought the correct house would to be this .youtube.com/watch?v=kokkHOmkPXg&feature=related

  • @Aniva66 this one is the 1974 one

  • @aznkid1452 i didm't understand. the 'family' moved and changed house?

  • @Aniva66 i have no idea haha, something must have happened.

  • It's so cool how u guys actually went to the real Texas chainsaw massacre house. I really wouldn't have the guts to go there

  • god can u hold da damn camera steady i've takin video on water slids holdin the cam better than this........

  • The original location in Round Rock, is this site all built up now?

  • Sorry everyone who thinks this is a true story, the TCSM never happened.. The movie was INSPIRED by the story of Ed Gein. Ed had never stepped foot in Texas, ever, nor have there ever been a chainsaw masacre..

  • @3mta33 yes there was a man that killed people in texas just like gein faggot

i know that and i'm fucking canadian if you don't believe me you can google search it mate not for sure what his name was but, its the same thing the MOVIE was inspiried by ed gein yes.

  • how did u find this place lol

  • @creepingdeath171 Joe Bob Briggs mentioned that it was in Round Rock, Texas. We just went there and started asking for directions from the locals. It took a horrendous 3 hours to find it cause everybody kept sending us to film locations other than the house.

  • now when you hit county rd 172 did you take a right or a left? i live about a mile or so away from quick hill and i can not seem to remember in which direction the house was? were you going north or south before turning on 172?

  • @SuperPoloking22 This was where the movie was filmed. The Ed Gein murders took place in Wisconsin

  • Thanks for posting this! One of my fav horror movies. You guys got balls! I would never ever dream of doing such a thing. Thanks again!

  • would that be some shit if you heard a chain saw ire up while you were in the house?!

  • Was the house built for the movie?

  • @jman224333 it wasnt built for the movie, they moved the residents out while they filmed the movie, and years later they took the house apart bit by bit and moved it...

  • Thanks for posting. For the TCM fans, your video is a jewel!

  • @teekaytee1 It was creepy as all get out. We had to walk about a 1/3 mile from the closest public road to get there. It was 113 degrees that day and seemed like the same type of day the characters in the movie would have experienced

  • @teekaytee1 indeed. Round Rock, Texas

  • thats cool its very interesting to see old abandoned sets from old scary movies

  • is that the house ,which was used in the film of 1974 ?

    I thought it became a restaurant ? :D

  • @IwantT0playagame This was filmed a week or two before it was dismantled to be moved
