Great film! Was funny playing an SAP constable. I clearly remember Samuel sitting in the window on set, reading his book between takes and laughing at our jokes from above!
First of all I'm not debating how it is now, Yes I have been there recently travel there quite often, No Rape, No Violence, Democracy, Your missing the point that events like this took place prior to now. Whether or not this is still going on now you or I will never know just because you don't see, or hear, or read about it doesn't mean it's not still going right now at this moment.
Well how convenient is that that no violence took place in that year just because in the movie it said it was 1994. doesn't mean any thing that irrelevant. who is in charge of doing these so called graphs of course you think they would actually admit to the things that took place cover up. Open your eyes and smell the coffee. don't be so BLIND> OPEN YOUR FRICKEN SON!!!!

You really think that the movie is pure propaganda making white people look guilty. I'm just stressing the fact that it happened no matter what year it was. Please don't think that im blaming the whole white race in south africa, Just want it to be acknowledged that those things happened there that is all.

Juliette Binoche was spectacularly brilliant here, she deserves an Oscar!

Why don't you go to South Africa now? See how it is a beautiful democracy right now. No apartheid, no rape, no violence...

Rape. Violence...these events took place prior to now?
Take at look of some SA graphs: violence x year, rape x year. No inflection point in 1994?

Blind, moron...you don't have strong arguments, so you atack me...
Teaching tolerance by intolerance..."great"!
"Everybody is equal", your philosophy is "beautiful". However, not the truth.
Btw, 1994 = end of apartheid.
