this work has a strong and terribly painful place in my life. the song has become the soundtrack for a terrible heartbreak I experienced last year, which also triggered a breakdown in my health. the song describes exactly what was brewing before the crisis hit... I have performed this song from the bottom of my heart on a couple of occasions during that period, and even today it is almost too painful to hear it... a masterpiece, but for me still a dangerous one....

His songs seem to be about betrayal and cheating. As beautiful and emotional as they are there must be a reason for his choice of genre.
