Obviously they do, and a bit more do you have any clue how long 90 km is when you're not in your minivan? And check out the elevation on the course map - very challenging race. Besides, you're missing the point of the race. It's not the Olympics, it's for the people. Sure the elite skiers will have flawless form. And anyone that can complete 90km should have your respect. I don't know about this Vasaloppet, but in the American Birkebeiner there are cutoff times. I like the whisky idea.

I don't know about you but most of these people should of first tried to ski around the block never mind 90 km just a whole lot of bad techniqe.
