You got too many media outlets that like the two party tag team dictatorship. Look at what these two parties do when one loses their power.
People should find that years ago that when Newt Gingrich came in after 1994 and the GOP didn't change much and then we threw out Hastert and co in 06 and then we got fed up w/ the Democrats in 2010. What people don't realize is that we go back and forth and we end up with the same policies except with different soundbites.

@Rhunidian I'll tell you like I told GHGs. Look it up yourself. CO2 increases historically have come AFTER temperature spikes. Cause->Effect. Not Effect->Cause. After the last solar maximum all these same people were waving their arms and screaming about another ice age. Its pathetic.
Video is wrong, it started in 1776, with the Declaration of Independence. The "Good" people in politics in any nation, any time, any "party" name were all libertarians.
Look at Andrew Jackson, technically he was a Democrat, but he was if anything a Libertarian. Lincoln as a Republican would have agreed with him on everything! Or JFK. I am still a Republican though, in the true sense of the word.
I personally do not like the name libertarian. We are what were refered to as Republicans in the constitution. Now the neo-con hawks have tarnished it so badly, that a new term was forced to be coined? lame. We are republicans. Just not right-wing religious wack-o hawks.
@frankfritter35 Uh, the word "Republican" comes up twice in the Constitution. And only then in the context of "Republican Government" and "Republican form of government." Anyway, it is more accurate that we are classical liberals. Though "libertarian" works as well if only because it expresses better than the now-distorted term "liberal" and vague phrase "republican" that we are concerned with liberty first and foremost.
Over 10 trillion in debt, and 65 trillion in unfunded liabilities. Liberals socialism just doesn't work. Please fight for civil liberties like your party and also fiscal constraint. Libertarian.

Libertarians. Who is tolerant of gays, abortion, and pushes the Bill of Rights in your face. Libertarians. Wake up people we are the middle.
@DiegoValadez1771 Well if are a liberal then you agree with half of the libertarian ideology. And to say that libertarians are conservatives shows your lack of knowledge on the subject.
Ok see now can someone explain something for me? Is libertarianism anti- big business? Or do they just believe companies do what companies do and its up to the consumers to keep them in check?
@worgenzwithm14z Okay, basically the Libertarian view on big business is slightly different based on who you ask in the party. Some believe that big business should not have any regulation and be only responsible to its consumers. However, many believe that it should have some regulation, but as little as possible. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions.
I've never quite figured out why the Libertarian Party hasn't quite taken off and became a major party. Because they represent what americans say they want, government out of its bedrooms and wallets.
Democrats and Republicans are both awful and controlled by corporations and lobbyists! America needs a political party with the "right" agenda. Vote Libertarian like Cartman! RINO Ron Paul for 2012 (or a better Libertarian/Constitutionalist if one emerges.)
It is very unlikely that many people can understand libertarian principles. State oriented individuals can rarely explain their moral position - take from one by force and give to another - hmmm? Can I take from others and give to myself? Nope that is wrong. Hmmm - can I take from others and give to my friends? Nope that is wrong. Hmmm - can I take from others and give to people that support my view? Nope your are not an elected official!
@ReduceGHGs It seems you think laws like the war on drugs are a good thing. Can you name one positive thing to the war on drugs? Do you remember prohibition? Do you have any proof besides the politically motivated climate summit reports (that were proven to be EDITED) to support CO2 as a cause of global warming? Do you have a mind of your own or are you just a liberal sheep?
I didn't say anything about drugs. Are you on them?
As for CO2 it was the w/cheney administration that edited EPA reports. Their intent was to DOWN PLAY the findings that global warming science was solid and that it poses risks.
Sounds like you parrot the propaganda without doing and research.
Here's a site where you can read ACCURATE position statements.
Google: Scientific Opinion on Climate Change Wikipedia
@qsteveens "Sorry you "free marketers" but like seat belts, regulating tobacco, and many other public safety laws save lives." The drug question is fair game, but I wouldn't be surprised if you refused to answer it. And yeah, I'm going to trust wikipedia on an issue like this, right. Never mind gore and his cronies have been paying off scientists for a decade and trumpeting global warming. You want real data? Look up neutral sources for CO2 levels vs avg temps. They don't match up. Its a hoax.
@qsteveens Laugh it up and join Gore's bandwagon. The climate summit says it all. Gore and his liberal cronies pay off scientists to scare the people. That lets liberals campaign on green to gain the support of the scared idiots. I mean hell, they've almost pulled of the Cap & Trade scam. Wonder who would make millions off of that? Oh - I know! AL GORE! CO2 doesn't cause warming. Warming causes CO2. Read something other than wiki and liberal TV. And my drug question still stands, btw.
@trex You post like a silly uninformed adolescent. Tell me. Have you EVER read a book about how humans are affecting our habitat? Not likely.
Lets say that Gore isn't in this issue at all. What are you left with? You are left with the same science! The science that EVERY ONE of our respected scientific institutions used to determine we humans are warming the planet.
This isn't wiki info. Try reading what NAS, NASA, AGU, SOCC, MIT, NOAA, and other say.
@qsteveens Every institution you just listed has ample evidence for you to investigate the proof yourself of man-made global warming being a scam. Man-made CO2 emissions and temperature rises do not match. The CO2 ALWAYS increases AFTER global temps, not BEFORE. How can the effect come before the cause? Earth's acute temperature moderations are caused mostly to solar min/max cycles. The CO2 comes after the heat. Me uninformed? Take your own advice and look it up yourself.
@trexilll Gore was/is right but he has just been telling us what the experts have been saying for years. It would be better to say that given the FACT that every one of our respected scientific institutions concur the odds are overwhelming that we need to change our ways.
Yea, and natural warming causes increases in CO2. That is not good as our warming of the atmosphere will cause natural releases of CO2 which will cause more warming, ... ; an unfriendly reinforcing cycle for sure!
@ReduceGHGs Gore has said nothing that doesn't benefit his own agenda. Never mind that average temperatures have cooled in the past decade as CO2 emissions go up. Never mind that the impending solar maximum has a *MUCH* greater affect on global temps. Never mind those leaked climategate e-mails. NEVERMIND THAT GORE OWNS ONE OF THE LARGEST CARBON TAX AGENCIES. No, that's just right-wing hatred of the planet (lol). Open your eyes, sheeple.
Gore has NOTHING to do with the science. He's apparently YOUR distraction.
Focus on what our scientific bodies have concluded. They ALL concur that we humans are warming the planet and the consequences are not good. There's no credible argument over this core issue.
The "climategate" issues were much-a-do about nothing. Apparently you haven't read any of the several studies about them. So sure there's no problem? Then please provide evidence (ONE respected scientific inst.).
@ReduceGHGs Gore has NOTHING to do with the science? That you would suggest there's no debate in the scientific community over our effect on the global climate is absurd. Your are too ignorant of the situation to even have a meaningful debate with. There is absolutely ZERO conclusive evidence that humans are causing any kind of global climate change. Not cooling like previously thought and not warming now. NO EVIDENCE. This issue is a political one, not environmental. Smoke and mirrors.
@trexilll Gore's been telling us what the experts have said for years. Among those that actively study the issue there is no credible debate over the core issue; humans are warming the planet mostly by burning fossil fuels and clearing the land. This is well established with many, many studies from many different countries. YOU may think there's "ZERO" conclusive evidence but consider the source. Are you a qualified expert? Not likely.
@ReduceGHGs No debate? You continue to be clueless. You are quite similar to Mr. Gore - you hear and see what you want and close your mind to those with other views that don't benefit your position. This conversation is a waste of both our time.
@trexilll If there were a credible debate there would be studies validating each position. There aren't. Every study I'm aware of concluded that we humans are warming the planet. This is a pretty good foundation for the scientific bodies that ALL, let me repeat, ALL, concluded the same on this core issue.
If have an open mind. If you can provide credible evidence to support your position I'd love to see it. The operative word is "credible" so vested interest propaganda need not apply.
I read some of your earlier posts. If you don't have a reasonable, well supported argument to offer, just don't. It isn't worth my time and I would hope it isn't worth yours.
Read and learn about climate change. Help preserve our only habitat for the sake of future generations.
Here's a good book by James Hansen... Storms Of My Grandchildren.
If you support the Libertarian Party, then speak up and spread the word. The Government is getting bigger and bigger. 2012 is only 2 years away. If we don't act, how likely is our freedom going to last if we have to wait until 2016 to have another shot at getting a Libertarian into office. Tell who ever you can and don't give up. We have less than 2 years, so lets get to work.
Man, you want to regulate my private business? Who cares about the time the residents live in this city? Nobody is forced to live in my city. It's private, it's my private ground, i can renting these houses in my city, which i've let build to everybody i want to. You can not say me how i shall run my business. If a person rents a house in my city, he get a flatrate for healthcare and garbage disposal. That's my service. Do you want to regulate my business?????
If i found a private city it is corporatism? Hello? It's like Disneyland. I think it's my private liberty right to found my own private city and i can say that people who want to live in my city have to pay a fee like you have to pay entrance to DL, like you have to pay your water or something else you buy or subcribe like a internet access. And i would take this money, my money of my company to make a free healthcare program like a flatrate. That is my fucking right, isn't it?
"No your wrong because how are you going to restrict A to save B?" So you would say if somebody (B) wants to kill you (A) we shouldn't restrict B to do this, because it restricts his "freedom rights"??? That makes no sense! Libertarianism makes no sense!
You can restrict B, because it protects your freeom rights and a right of killing as part of freedom rights doesn't exist as freedom from taxation doesn't exists. Your freedom ends there, where the right of another person begins
"invading my emails and phonecalls" Ok now you are trying to argue against something that comes from government with an argument which is about the content of what the government does, but at the same time where you are saying that the government protects your freedom for example by prohibiting killing, you say that the government always restricts your freedom rights if we talk about other issues. That makes no sense.
Medicare just exists, because private health insurances don't cover people without money, they deny it and 1% are even insured. That's enough to me to say, the freedom rights which are universal needs universal healthcare and no free markets, which restrict the freedom rights.
The city would be a city build by a company like a gated community. The company owns the city and everybody who wants to live in this city with an income has to pay a fee. The company spend this money on a healthcare service and on the company owned charity which is called social security. Do you know what i mean?
"everything beyond that is destined to invade our freedoms." That's the contradiction. You argue that everything your government does behind security tasks is against your freedom, because it is government, while saying that the government can protect freedom at the same time. So if government can protect your freedom, why you are against government behind the "basic" tasks? Do you think that freedom is just reduced on the right of physical integrity? I think freedom is also ...
Libertarians think that government is an opponent of freedom, that's their argument against everything the government does and why they want just a small government.
But you can argue so if you say at the same time that government has to protect some basic things. At this point you refute yourself that everything government does that isn't basic is against freedom. You have to take other arguments, but then all your political statements make no sense.
"FREEST MARKETS possible." Does that mean that i can found a city, where everybody pays a fee to the city company for becoming healthcare and with a company owned charity who gives money to the poors? lol That's an interesting question, isn't it?
Unlimited freedom of the markets is the suppression of the people. Just by a smart regulation we can guarantee freedom for everybody.
@BJJistheway "we support the FREEST MARKETS possible."
Absolutely free markets would entail anarchism, not libertarianism. The term "free market" should not be taken to refer to a complete lack of law concerning business, but rather to a set of regulatory law that is without arbitrary impact on any particular party, and which is specifically tailored and constitutionally restrained. In other words, fundamental laws or regulations that jive with everyone's interests, like prohibiting fraud.
I hope everyone votes for LIBERTY on November 2nd! Vote for liberty, justice, and individual rights! Vote for capitalism and libertarianism! Do NOT vote for evil Welfare Statism via the lowlife, nitwit Republicans or Democrats!!
the fatal blow for libertarianism, is that it is counter-intuitive.
They really need to stick to the basic philosophy and explain simply why big government is incompatible with rights and a free market system. something along the 'road to serfdom' explanation.
@TheAttackRat, all great historical advances, whether they be scientific, political, social, etc, were counter-intuitive to the people at the time.
But I do agree that they aren't doing a good job with advertising. The uneducated masses blindly vote for the best face on TV. We need a good face on TV! Not just promotion from small intellectual circles.
@TheAttackRat Ahhh, the road to serfdom I remember that book. Olof Palme wrote a critical essay on that piece of shit. I guess thats why Sweden ranks higher than the United State on every good index.
@amazingyou1uber Those people in Sweden are living on borrowed time, when they're government turns on them, and it may at any moment, they will all be living the dream of equality... In the Gulags and labour camps.
Its not our fault there are more of the un-educated in America to vote for the "Lesser of the two evils" -i.e. Rep or Dem- Every American is Libertarian they just dont know it. We havent had a chance to show what we could do with real power in office to initiate change.
So we need to get out there and spread the word! Tell as many people as you can! Vote third party, its the only way we will feel change.
Spanish is a European language clueless americans...slander ur mothers instead...n hopefullly the damn mexicans etc turn ur country into a brown cesspool.
American libertarianism is not libertarianism as history has described it...this is important. A lot of libertarians are right libertarians and not real libertarians at all...read some histrory about "libertarian"
@lasbarricadasnow Correctomundo! Americans have tended towards Libertarian Socialism and Corporatism for a long time yet many seem unaware of this. This new right Libertarianism is closer to anarchy and returning to southern style feudalism. I know many of them and their attitude is straight up ' screw paying taxes and the American worker, I'll hire slaves under the radar.' These same people are happy the government is broke even though many people are suffering, they really could care less.
It has all changed now! With Bush the taxes and government became lower. There where no new spending... atleast nothing big. And when Obama came he cut the spending even more so america is almost a libertarian country now, thank god!
Today - I ask all Libertarians to Join the GOP - influence the GOP - RP has a good chance - IN the GOP.
But please do not cast votes for anything other then a Republican = which only assists the next Progressive in his political career. There are only so many voters - you may not care for Republican politics (we can stink up the boat pretty bad) - but I am asking you to 'JOIN' - stop the obamanations from advancing one more step.
This history is pretty disappointing. There's no mention of the Non-Aggression Principle and barely anything about the philosophy of libertarianism that gives the party its purpose. And whoever made this seems to think the Libertarian Party is only about its candidates -- the proud history of grassroots Libertarian activism is ignored. In general I felt very talked-down-to. If I didn't know anything about the Libertarian Party and watched this video, it would not make me want to join.
How could they possibly not have mentioned Ron Paul and his 88 libertarian presidential run? I hate to say it, but the libertarian party is dead and always will be. Libertarians need to get together and kick the christian right out of the GOP and return the GOP to it's roots. It's been close to 40 years and the libertarian party has accomplished nothing, we need to take back the GOP.
Ive been a libertarian since the day I turned 18! I am sickk of the right left BS, everyone thinks I am a republican because of my disgust for our current president!
@6CHRIS6ROWE6 thanks for giving us the truth of your reasoning. You, like many others have only been promoting Libertarianism because you feel disenfranchised by the other two parties. Too bad many who choose this direction aren't very much aware of what they are supporting, but hey it sounds good and can make you feel like a rational individual.
The Libertarian stand on age of consent laws -- Get rid of them! They believe that if an adult can talk a 5-year-old into giving him a blowjob, then the big bad government has no right to interfere. Most NAMBLA members are card-carrying Libertarians.
@snowwolf7777 we had surplus do to overtaxing HELLO and do to all the tax cuts reagan and Bush#1 put into effect not clinton he just rolled the wave cut the military in half and reaped the benefits,then created "freddy MaC and Fanny mae and that is the reason where we are today,he even admitted to it this weekend as the biggest mistake a president could have made
@snowwolf7777 "The surplus was due to the stock market bubble profits generating inflated taxes. That bubble ended and those subsequent stock losses became a drain on tax revenues. I'm not in any way excusing Bush's disastrous policies, just pointing out how lucky the government was to profit from the phoony bubble profits.
@tomintroy you sounds moderate, but housing bubble didn't state until the deregulation of the markets. The surplus was gain though taxes and polices such as the pay as you go. of course the smartest option who to cut spending, mostly in the military. The a large part of the military spending is on veterans which is expensive because the cost of drugs and insurance.
@snowwolf7777 Uhh... No it was not the de regulation of the banks that started this mess it was keeping interest rates at 1% for too long. Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac give out crappy loans to people who cannot afford them. Also how come during the Clinton years when we did not have a war the defense budget remained flat(some slight adjustments).
@dukee155 the number one cost to the military is befits. Especially health care cost, except that the government contacts to insurgence company's which can control the market, which can charge any price because well do anything for our veterans. See the rest of the world has moved on the government run health care, leaving Americans with high cost, the problem is that health care will never be " a fair market". Their is no competition.
@snowwolf7777 I do not fell like getting into a political debate I'm done with its annoying, but I will say this is that we need to create competition with the insurance we have.
CSF-Great Video. I was a delegate to 1992 convention in Utah. Yes the party has not broken the two party hold in America. Perhaps we can work still here through the Campaign for Liberty to reclaim the Republican party. Stop the National ID, abolish the FED and the Security State (bring the troops home and end covert war), Grandfather out the welfare nanny State.
Wake up America! Right on! You's've been duped! Right on! End da damn use uh covert contracts such as Fo'm 1040, wheels registrashuns, bird certificate applicashuns, and bank signature cards which confess de signa' to be some legal ficshun subject uh de United States Federal Co'po'ashun (U.S. sucka') dat gots waved his/ha' rights in favo' uh state-issued privileges.
It's called Classical Liberalism and almost all of the founders (main exception:James Madison) were what are known as libertarians now. The Party is thriving in the birthplace CO.
Over here in the UK we also have a Libertarian Party. Unfortunately it is so small that there is almost no chance of it getting into power during my lifetime. This is very disheartening for me but I want you to know that I support your ideals and would easily vote for you if I was living in the USA.
@AussiePolitics No, I mean an actual Libertarian Party. They only formed within the last couple of years and are mostly made up of people my age (20-24). Hence the unlikeliness of their success against more established parties. Thier manifesto seems to be in line with libertarian ideals but because of their membership and the age of their party, you can understand my doubts as to their future success.
@TheJboy88 Even if your British Libertarian Party doesn't have the support of numbers yet, it already has the superior moral support. Liberty is an attractive idea, and people will eventually catch on. Don't worry, people will catch on in your country just as they will in every country with at least one outspoken proponent for libertarianism/classical liberalism.
One more thing, when you compare Americas tax rates to the rest of the industrialized world its about average. When you factor how much money goes into the militarty your will shit your pants.
Consider the fact that the higest taxed countries (Personal and corporate), Belgiun, Sweden and France all have better schools, less crime, less poverty, better healthcare (W.H.O) and a smaller military budget.
It has been proven that high taxes that injects money into social causes works.....
"I dont care if I destroy society in the process, but how do I keep my tax dollars from going to those lazy Mexicans and Niggers!!!!"
The libertrian agenda is flawed big time. Tax is not theft, voting with your dollar is too difficult and spreads resources too thin, people would not pay enough money on their own to keep society functioning, Citizens loosing their power to control money flow is very dangerous- this is how we get totalitarian regimes...
Taxes were much higher during the fifties and sixties, and so was the quality of life and the chances that only one person would have to work to support a family....
Look at as now, you are a tool of the machines that suck money from our pockets...
1. I have to disagree with your notion that the government is ineffective at combating racial discrimination. The reason that you don't hear about racial discrimination cases in the news is because 99% of them settle during mediation.
2. The government has a monopoly, yes, but that's a necessary evil. Private monopolies shouldn't be illegal.
3. Corporations are our friend? Are you kidding me? Go look at the Gilded Age! When the cat's away, the rats will play!
Racial discrimination is a sociological issue that can be addressed by education and time. Even if the government forced a manager to hire a minority, the manager would still have a bias towards him.You cant make social tendencies to change on command.
Ever have a job? If so than most likely you were at one point, making a living by working for a corporation. Corps create so much wealth for society in so many different forms. People just bash corps cause its the cool thing to do.

Sorry you "free marketers" but like seat belts, regulating tobacco, and many other public safety laws save lives.
Why isn't "indirect costs" in the libertarian vocabulary? Because they don't want to face these truths.
Now they pull the same crud in their denials of climate change. Come on, get real!
ReduceGHGs 1 year ago
@ReduceGHGs It seems you think laws like the war on drugs are a good thing. Can you name one positive thing to the war on drugs? Do you remember prohibition? Do you have any proof besides the politically motivated climate summit reports (that were proven to be EDITED) to support CO2 as a cause of global warming? Do you have a mind of your own or are you just a liberal sheep?
trexilll 1 year ago
@trexilll .

Its a hoax.
trexilll 1 year ago
@trexilll . Gore paying off scientists? LMFAO!!!!
Must have been doing it since 1979, huh?
You are the hoax!
qsteveens 1 year ago
@qsteveens Laugh it up and join Gore's bandwagon. The climate summit says it all. Gore and his liberal cronies pay off scientists to scare the people. That lets liberals campaign on green to gain the support of the scared idiots. I mean hell, they've almost pulled of the Cap & Trade scam. Wonder who would make millions off of that? Oh - I know! AL GORE! CO2 doesn't cause warming. Warming causes CO2. Read something other than wiki and liberal TV. And my drug question still stands, btw.
trexilll 1 year ago 3
@trex You post like a silly uninformed adolescent. Tell me. Have you EVER read a book about how humans are affecting our habitat? Not likely.
Lets say that Gore isn't in this issue at all. What are you left with? You are left with the same science! The science that EVERY ONE of our respected scientific institutions used to determine we humans are warming the planet.
This isn't wiki info. Try reading what NAS, NASA, AGU, SOCC, MIT, NOAA, and other say.
You have only baseless bantering.
qsteveens 1 year ago
@qsteveens Every institution you just listed has ample evidence for you to investigate the proof yourself of man-made global warming being a scam. Man-made CO2 emissions and temperature rises do not match. The CO2 ALWAYS increases AFTER global temps, not BEFORE. How can the effect come before the cause? Earth's acute temperature moderations are caused mostly to solar min/max cycles. The CO2 comes after the heat. Me uninformed? Take your own advice and look it up yourself.
trexilll 5 months ago
@trexilll Gore was/is right but he has just been telling us what the experts have been saying for years. It would be better to say that given the FACT that every one of our respected scientific institutions concur the odds are overwhelming that we need to change our ways.
Yea, and natural warming causes increases in CO2. That is not good as our warming of the atmosphere will cause natural releases of CO2 which will cause more warming, ... ; an unfriendly reinforcing cycle for sure!
ReduceGHGs 5 months ago
@ReduceGHGs Gore has said nothing that doesn't benefit his own agenda. Never mind that average temperatures have cooled in the past decade as CO2 emissions go up. Never mind that the impending solar maximum has a *MUCH* greater affect on global temps. Never mind those leaked climategate e-mails. NEVERMIND THAT GORE OWNS ONE OF THE LARGEST CARBON TAX AGENCIES. No, that's just right-wing hatred of the planet (lol). Open your eyes, sheeple.
trexilll 5 months ago
@trexilll .
ReduceGHGs 5 months ago
@ReduceGHGs Gore has NOTHING to do with the science? That you would suggest there's no debate in the scientific community over our effect on the global climate is absurd. Your are too ignorant of the situation to even have a meaningful debate with. There is absolutely ZERO conclusive evidence that humans are causing any kind of global climate change. Not cooling like previously thought and not warming now. NO EVIDENCE. This issue is a political one, not environmental. Smoke and mirrors.
trexilll 5 months ago
@trexilll Gore's been telling us what the experts have said for years. Among those that actively study the issue there is no credible debate over the core issue; humans are warming the planet mostly by burning fossil fuels and clearing the land. This is well established with many, many studies from many different countries. YOU may think there's "ZERO" conclusive evidence but consider the source. Are you a qualified expert? Not likely.
Google: Scientific Opinion on Climate Change Wiki
ReduceGHGs 5 months ago
@ReduceGHGs No debate? You continue to be clueless. You are quite similar to Mr. Gore - you hear and see what you want and close your mind to those with other views that don't benefit your position. This conversation is a waste of both our time.
trexilll 5 months ago
@trexilll If there were a credible debate there would be studies validating each position. There aren't. Every study I'm aware of concluded that we humans are warming the planet. This is a pretty good foundation for the scientific bodies that ALL, let me repeat, ALL, concluded the same on this core issue.
If have an open mind. If you can provide credible evidence to support your position I'd love to see it. The operative word is "credible" so vested interest propaganda need not apply.
ReduceGHGs 5 months ago
@trexilll .
I read some of your earlier posts. If you don't have a reasonable, well supported argument to offer, just don't. It isn't worth my time and I would hope it isn't worth yours.

B190489 1 year ago
@BJJistheway

You can restrict B, because it protects your freeom rights and a right of killing as part of freedom rights doesn't exist as freedom from taxation doesn't exists. Your freedom ends there, where the right of another person begins

@BJJistheway
B190489 1 year ago
@BJJistheway
Medicare just exists, because private health insurances don't cover people without money, they deny it and 1% are even insured. That's enough to me to say, the freedom rights which are universal needs universal healthcare and no free markets, which restrict the freedom rights.
B190489 1 year ago
@BJJistheway
You pay money for a health insurance, but if you get sick they deny the treatment. Then your freedom right to live is attacked by the market.

The city would be a city build by a company like a gated community. The company owns the city and everybody who wants to live in this city with an income has to pay a fee. B190489 1 year ago

... restricted by companies and rich people, by drug dealers and lacking of welfare.
I think we need government behind security tasks, we need a government which protects the poors with welfare and families from drug-dealers.
B190489 1 year ago
@BJJistheway
B190489 1 year ago
*can't
B190489 1 year ago
@BJJistheway
B190489 1 year ago
@BJJistheway
B190489 1 year ago
@BJJistheway "we support the FREEST MARKETS possible."
Absolutely free markets would entail anarchism, not libertarianism. The term "free market" should not be taken to refer to a complete lack of law concerning business, but rather to a set of regulatory law that is without arbitrary impact on any particular party, and which is specifically tailored and constitutionally restrained. In other words, fundamental laws or regulations that jive with everyone's interests, like prohibiting fraud.

the fatal blow for libertarianism, is that it is counter-intuitive.
They really need to stick to the basic philosophy and explain simply why big government is incompatible with rights and a free market system. something along the 'road to serfdom' explanation.

It has been proven that high taxes that injects money into social causes works.....
tempemonkey2323 1 year ago
@tempemonkey2323
You are overlooking the fact that those countries are able to maintain a tiny military budget because the U.S. protects them.
If it were not for the U.S. spending all that money on our military, most of Europe would be under the control of China or Russia.
The only thing that high taxes do is smother incentive for businesses to succeed. The end result is a crappy economy.

The libertrian agenda is flawed big time. I dont think the government is very effective at combating racial discrimination. I think affirmative action may actually contribute to it.
Monopolies are already legalized, what do you think the government is? lol
Corporations are our friends, not our enemies. Internalize externalities.
