Thx Patch, this song holds a lot of emotion for me. I have know good friends, who's families have broken up & the effects upon the children is pretty rough. So I thought it would be something to write a song from a child's point of view.
The song literally wrote itself over the course of two days. The early version I posted (with the birds in the background) was recorded right after I finished the last verse on a sunny afternoon.

Thx Mary, I wrote that song over the course of two nice summer days. The "Far Away" hook just stuck in my head (and wouldn't "go away" lol).
