@damnyou101 it's simply the same thing that's going on now with 21 day holds. Their "projected" float interest fell below their Swelled Appetites due to the INSTANT ACCESS of the paypal debit card. I had one in 2001. Then they decided Canadian Customers were not worthy and I could not renew it. So now they are just trying to hold money every junction they can, so I cancel Paypal too FINALLY. IT was good at one time, but that seems like a...uh, 10 fucking years ago. REALLY.

@Alhambrattp How can you close a limited account? Paypal keeps telling me it's impossible for me, and for them. Also stupid when I get a message about my account saying it has been limited and closed at the same time..there's something wrong there. Also (4th paragraph):

Far as I know they are the same. To close your account clikc account help and type "Close Account - PayPal" then click the close account link and follow the steps, that's all I did. Is you account limited as in frozen or limited as it they set a cap.

They told me that when I gave them the info for proof of identity that they needed that my account would restore, but it didn't.

i requested a bank transaction from my chq account to my paypal on the 17th, 3 days later the money was removed from my bank account (20th) and now the expected clearing date is the 29th...12 days? wtf....#1, there collecting my interest for 10 full days!!! and #2, if my account has been verified, and the money has been removed, why the fuck is it taking 10 extra days to be put into my account..i fucking hate paypal..these crooks are loaded from holding money and collecting interest

Paypal just closed my acct after 5 years and allmost 2 million dollars in sales. They did a random credit check and were not pleased with the results so closed the acct and are holding $3,812.90 for 180 days incase of chargebacks. Well, guess what. True PalPal sucks and I dislike their sorry customer service. I have not done business with Ebay or PayPal in 5 years. PayPal is a sorry company that needs to go out of business. I refuse to ever accept PayPal again for as long as I live. I had my PayPal account suspended as well years ago for no reason. Just because I was good at selling they suspended me. I now use Amazon Payment, Alert Pay, Money Bookers and they are 10 times better than PayPal will ever be. PayPal can go crawl under a rock.
