1. The arcade version is the original "real" version, the graphics and music are far superior to any ported version and all console versions came after the arcade. I prefer the Mega Drive version as it's what I'm used to after a couple of decades playing it, it's longer and IS superior in terms of gameplay and length, but your statement was still stupid.

Golden Axe has many flaws. It is almost impossible to be attacked by three or more enemies simultaneously and it is almost impossible to be hit by an "overlapped" enemy. Moreover, Death Bringer (and Adder and Adder jr.) can't leave the screen like the other enemies. Thus, although he strives to do that, he can't engage you properly to meet you face-to-face... while the second skeleton is on "watch mode" and is not focused on attacking you (he is the third enemy).

Also, to make an infinite combo with Gilius, just hit an enemy with his axe from the farthest distance possible. That's why I had to step back before massively hitting the skeleton.

And of course you can do it! You had to see me fighting Death Bringer many years ago... he used to kick my ass very often with his magic...

But now, I know all of his cheap tricks! Hehe...

No. Death Bringer just can't leave the screen, like other enemies do, and he doesn't attack you from very close ranges.

That means he will struggle (in vain) to get enough distance in order to attack you from behind, but the screen blocks him.

Meanwhile you can freely attack one of his skeletons. As long as you don't knock it down, the other one will have a chance of about 70% of staying away from battle, since usually only 2 enemies can engage a player in battle effectivelly.

9. Do not tell me I cheat on bosses if you use the same trick on the defenseless Death Adder (slash, slash, knock, knock,...).

10. Do not tell me the way I need to kill those skeletons if you can't even kill them.

6. I let Death Bringer use his fireball once, so your argument is void.

Kobrakai, have any tests been carried out on the score system for Golden Axe Arcade?

On XBLA, with these settings, there is a guy with a score of just over 600and several above 445 so the same rules clearly don't apply.

I don't know anything about the points on the arcade version. However, from the tests I've made on the Mega Drive version, I've noticed some enemies do not provide points when knocked off the ledge. If these points were counted in the arcade version and considering the arcade version ends on Death Adder, I think the maximum strength you could get would be around 350... my gross guess... I don't really know.

2. This game, in arcade mode, does NOT have HARD or EASY mode, so your arguments are void.

3. I did not cheat, nor did I use magic, animals or any kind of computer aided resources, like fast forwarding, to enhance my performance, unlike you.

4. I played in a certain speed to minimize the size of the video and maximize the points, while showing all cutscenes. Even then, you played slower (you can measure time by hearing the music).

you suck. why tel so many reasons? u kill death adder using kinda cheat where he cant hit you because u stay almost offscreen. i not do it. your kills suck. not using beasts sucks too, t makes it more stupid, using beasts is harder. and where u saw videos that were perfect and without using crap things so bosses cant hit you. boss not even 1ce used fireball on you. to show how good u are play the game and dont cheat on bosses and fight as many enemis as possible. and dont cut and edit your video

4) jump more (jump over enemies sometimes)

5)kill faster

6) kil Death adders skeletons (without offscreen trick, justt run, jump, roll whatever, just no cheating) and let Death Adder use his fireballs many times

7)and play the standard version (not megadrive) just type ''golden axe'' in google and ull get the version i have( its the 1 with fast foward option), but not use the fast foward, it not very beautiful.

6. I got a Strength of 445 and you were barely able to get 103.3 (less than 4x).

7. Try not to get hit and killed so many times next time. Do not get Continues too. I've already seen some Perfect or almost perfect videos, but yours, stoelzitten, are very far from those.

ok, today i ve been playing golden axe all day, just to make a perfect run. and i did it, because i was always the champion in that game, i plyd it back in the 1990s, and noone cud beat me. so now i made a real PERCRAZYKAMIKADZESTUNTMODE (yes, so many stunts, its like action movie) , but you will see tomorrow. only thing i didnt do was kill the skeletons, but they have just much more health then the death bringer so if he had more health id kil the skeletons too. u ll never be able to beat THAT.
