@lordcrusade trust me pontiac motors have way more potential than any chevy. my 2:64 one tire fryer 72 firebird with a stock cam and stock heads at 7.6:1 compression 350 with an automatic with light up the tires all day long very very easy. all you gotta do is get into the throttle a little too fast. only thing not stock is intake and carb.

@muta157 it lays down rubber on the pavement and also heats up your tires, which together gives you better traction at the start of a race, and in turn better acceleration. if you didnt do that, you would gun it and sit there and spin the tires anyways after the word go, until they got enough grip. so you might as well do it beforehand cuz with a car with that much hp its gonna happen anyway. but i have cooper cobra's and as long as you dont do it too much, it really doesnt hurt the tires 2 much
