  • wow there are also a lot of boys now.. there used to be like only two boys and 100 girls... wow that's a huge change. they have a nice looking table now and more elderly people. the babies crib looks different too.

  • i remember the orphange i am also adopted from that orphange and it looks really different then the time i was there. i miss the people i knew when i was there i hope to visite them when i can!!! thanks again for sharing. i also kept my chinese name for my middle name cant imagine my name with out my chinese name.

  • Great! We adopted our first daughter from Jinchang in 2002. The families we traveled with kept their Chinese names as middle names for their girls. Nice to have footage of the place where our girls spent their first year. Thanks

  • Congratulations! So far you are the only parents who have kept or given Chinese names to their adopted Chinese children I have seen on youtube. Most of the white folks are kind of removing them completely from their homeland and culture. Fortunately I have seen younger families sending their Chinese children to learn the language and culture.
