  • Try going to sleep now...

  • I have 4 metal pins from chuck e cheese's pizza time theatre from 1980. I can't find them anywhere online. Anyone think they'd be worth anything? I got to this video in my search for the value.

  • Isn't That From A VHS Tape?

  • @Carsonsfanclub Well they sure didn't have DVDs at the time

  • people under 15? How about people under 9.

  • @TastyPepperoniPizza Actually, CEC used to be a place for all ages, children, teens, even adults went there! You are so uninformed, yet you think you know everything.

  • why did they get rid of the other characters from chucky e cheese please answer

  • @honor21221able Hello!

Not sure if you mean characters like Dolli Dimples, The King, and the Beagles, or the 5 main characters. Right now the 5 main characters are still present in the showtapes, and even in artwork. Most locations now have a one robot show called Studio C which features JUST Chuck. However, the other characters still interact with Chuck via "Satellite". LOL...

  • @chuckecheeseshows i mean dollie dimples and the king and the beagles why did they get rid of them

  • Is it true that Italians can be offended by Pasqually? I don't understand why.

  • Can we say Diabetes?

  • o my god that scary

  • the dudes who work at Chuck E. Cheese now sucks

  • I use to go here in the 90s as a kid. I was the kid who would never get tickets or prizes. Thats because I would just play all the video game cabinets. I wonder if they still have the Simpsons arcade game. That one was a favourite!

The scariest thing in Chukee Cheese was those robot characters. hahaha

I wish they had "The King" at the restaurant i use to go to. Cant go wrong with Elvis music.

Cant believe how long its been around for! Wow the 80s!!

  • i love thier pizza

  • Who's that barney guy?

  • I'm 15, and I think these old character designs are scaaary

  • I miss chuck e. cheese when it was like this!

  • what the fuck why??!

  • guess the nostalgia reminds me of my childhood lol

  • i remember the old days

  • I remember going to Chuck E. Cheese's back then when I was a kid ? I remember going to Levittown, NY since I was 7 years old. Its near Long Island, New York. In the Nassau County, where my Dad's family live ?

  • what happened to Harmony and Dolly Dimples???

  • The most unique format this side of Disneyworld ..yeh right

  • 1:12 pizza anyway that i like it? howabout good pizza!

  • DOHOHOHOHOHO!

  • wtf was in the backround at 3:38 (creepy!)

  • thats a hippo.

  • @Amatuervideosrock thats a pickle.

  • Love how it's all corporate and then comes Mr. Munch.

    Thanks for the unique post.

  • I Love Jasper

  • I don't recall Dolly Dimples or the King at the CeC I went to, but it was almost 30 years ago...

  • I remember Dolly Dimples, but at the time I didn't remember her name...I was 5 then, lol. I do remember King becoming King Cat, a Michael Jackson-lookalike. The CEC that used to be in my area had two floors; the main floor had CEC and the gang, and the upper floor were Dolly and King Cat

  • That must have been the "Castle" in San Jose, yes?

  • No, this one was in Concord :)

  • Concord had a multi-level store also?

I know there were a few out there on the left coast.

    What is this place now?

  • Yeah, the Concord location was two stories; it later became The Jungle in the mid-90s. Buuuuut, Concord is getting a new CEC :)

  • Today I think Italians would find Pasquale stereotypical and offensive. Ah, the early 80s...

  • The first Chuck E Cheese my parents took me to was a place in Hampton VA. It had all of these characters. It was quite neat. That last Chucke E Cheese I went to was when my family and I took my nephew out to one in Grand Rapids, MI. The only animatronic on stage was Chucky himself while the rest of the characters were on TV screens. The show was good and service was stellar. But the experience would have been better with all the animatronic characters.

  • Cool, I was a regular at Hampton in the 90s and early 00s. That store is closed now and re-located.

  • :29 is so scary

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

  • those robot things always scared me

n when chuckie came out i was pretty close to waterworks

    lol chuckie cheese is creepy

  • Ok I've got the most random/difficult question. I really don't know how to ask it, but does ANYONE remember some weird flapper like wings and elephant feet that would play like tambourine's and jingles? They were coming out of the wall up to the right of the stage. Out in front of the stage a little bit. Someone please help me figure this one out! ha

  • The clapper board :D!

  • Thanks!

  • The magic of Chuck E Cheese is kids can be kids, even if they're sliding backwards.

  • At 0:55;

Uh, your not supposed to go down the slide that way.

  • i wish i could get some tokens or other memoribilia from this era

  • I remember the chuck go round and "The King". I went to the one in Mission Viejo Ca.

  • Jasper's right arm looks creepy at 02:07

  • wow..id b freaked..

  • When did it go from Pizza Time Theater to Just plain old Chuck E. Cheese's?

  • The 1990's.

  • Pizza Time Theatre bankrupted and closed in 1984 and was acquired by Showbiz Pizza after that in the early 90s Showbiz and its characters were phased out and both stores became known simply as Chuck E Cheese's.

  • @captslappy Wonder why they chose these creeps over the Rock-Afire...

  • @AeroWinds2k9 Actually I really like the Pizza Time Players and own this show in my house. The Rock-afire rights belonged to CEI and were only leased to showbiz. Showbiz bought out CEC in 1984 and owned those characters outright.

  • @AeroWinds2k9 You have to admit the RAE was a little creepy. After CU the Pizza Time Players changed. They aren't as creepy anymore.

  • When did it go from Pizza Time Theater to Just plain old Chuck E. Cheese's?

  • I remember this as a kid great franchise idea

  • harmony howlette was used as a special guest in the pizza time show.

  • Harmony was one of several guests used. Helen Henny became the permanent 5th member after the chain was acquired by Showbiz pizza. She was used in 1981-82 and had 2 show tapes that featured her.

  • What was weird at the Gathersburg Chuck E. Cheese's is that Mr. Munch's Head Kept releasing like he was screaming.

  • ITS DAVE AND BUSTERS FOR LITTLE KIDS

  • Whenever I bring up the subject of Chuck E Cheese, I can tell you right now that most of the middle aged adults I've talked to about it tell me that their pizza was terrible, of course I wouldn't know because I wasn't around in the late 70s.

  • So is this from a TV channel or something. What is this from. Hello? Anyone know?

  • @garfieldsimpsonfan it was a several food chains from the early 80's to the present

  • Great video, I'm definitely saving this one! The first Chuck E Cheese in Sacramento, behind Florin Mall, later became the Good Guys store where several people were shot on live TV in 1991- it recently became a Dollar Tree store.

  • I remember that one, and it was huge it took ip the entire Good Guys side and the Sutter Dialysises side as well.

  • who the hell is harmony howlette?

  • I love Chuckee Cheese Pizza...do you?

  • Yes! I love the pizza there!!!

  • Their pizza is pretty good. Initially when they first opened up in 1977, their pizza was terrible (at least that's what I heard).

  • What happen to Harmony did she get fired from her bad sining

  • i'm glad the harmony character didn't stay, i am a helen henny fan

  • Certainly don't make stuff like that anymore.

  • "robutt" lol. I remember some of these rides from when I was a kid

  • Very sad, they dont even show many arcade games, you can tell that they were already going the way of the redemption arcade games and kiddie entertainment center even back then.

  • You know, watching these...they make me miss the CEC of yore, so so so badly. I mean...

Ah, Im starting to sound like an old lady. I'll shut up now :)
