  • This is amazing! - do you have a build log?

  • @brettybluevein Jealousy makes you nasty, nasty makes ugly and ugly makes you fat ! lol

  • Wow NICE! Anyone know where I can get a full hyperpin setup for my machine? I mean like all the roms/tables ready to go with emulator? You can pm me, thanks.

  • Neat enough, but you'll never be able to replicate a pinball machine w/o it actually being a pinball machine.

  • @brettybluevein That`s right,it`s not the same and it never will be

But it`s not only a pinball machine,it`s an arcade cab with MAME and the other emulators too

    And it plays fine.

  • @brettybluevein Absolutely true, i am a pinball collector myself and there is no substitute. But, I don't have all the pins I've wanted and sometimes it can be years before I run into some of my favorites. This would be nice to have for a quick blast on my favorite games until I can get my hands on the real deal.

  • Here is my cool guitar, virtual pinball machine, and hot girlfriend. Video of my Corvette and Jetski soon!

  • Hi Peter111211, I really like your cab and I am planning to do something very similar, any chance you could upload a video of your cab showing it going through menus and playing video games as well? Cheers. Phil

  • Peter, amazing cab, really sick.

I'm in the early stages of designing my own minicab.

I'm curious and couldnt really tell from the video, did you use a lockdown bar between the end of the plexiglass and the beginning of the control panel or did you do something else to secure the glass?

My playfield is going to be a 24" widescreen monitor, it's at most 15-16 inches across, and most standard lockdown bars are 22 inches, so I'm kind of stuck with what to do and was curious what you did

    Thanks!

  • @cdf12345 Hi,i use a simple metal profile between the end of the plexiglass and the beginning of the control panel That u can buy in any warehouse or mall.

It`s the same profile that i used on the side of the cabinet, but a bit smaller.

    Good luck with your minicab!!!

    Peter

  • @peter111211

That's good to know! What type of shape was it, and how did you connect the metal profile to to control panel securely? Thanks again for your insight!

  • @cdf12345 It`an L profile that i moved under the control panel and the plexyglass is against the L profile

so it can be open all the time (excuse for my english it`s a bit difficult to explain) i hope that u can understand this.

    pete

  • how did you get it full screen over the top view like that?

  • @neutech if you play it in arcade mod i used the resolution of 1024x768 in full screen

  • Hey,

Do you have any build plans for this awesome machine. It look's great!

You're from the netherlands? I'm from Belgium.

  • @Mugenlord1 Hello, sorry no it`s all in the head with a little of this and a little of that hehehe

I`ved looked on the internet for the cab`s,picked some ideas and build my own one.

  • Also wondering: what's the stick for? Is it just for selecting options, or do you also use this unit for playing vertical games? That's what I'd do if I had a unit like that.

  • @GrandDizzy Hi,the stick is for the games that i use with mame and other emu`s

and i can play play windowgames on it (mame on both screens)

  • @peter111211 mame can be played on both screens

  • I've seen a few of these cabinets on YouTube. Yours may not be the biggest, but it's definitely my favourite.

It's just so neat and elegant. I like how the two screens are the same width and line up perfectly. Even traditional pinball tables have big back boxes hanging over the sides. But this is very securely housed!

How big's the screen? Looks like a 24" but hard to tell. (Depends how big the girl is!) Also, how did you do the marquee? Looks more complicated than just a single backlight.

  • @GrandDizzy

    The screen is 26 inch

The marquee is plexiglass that i bended with heat, and the drawing is printed on photo paper

And behind the margquee is a tl light. that`s it!!

  • nice!!!!!! how did you get it to play FULLSCREEN, i dont know what settings to use. thanks

  • @richie1701d

Hi,sorry for the late response, but there is one thing i know that`s very important, and that is:

Be sure you have your monitor rotated so,that the UNDERSIDE is on the LEFT. (otherwise it don`t work properly)

  • Hey, I saw you comment on the site to make fried rice. You said you like Joe Satraini, Please check my site here on YT.

    mikelthomas

    Mikel Thomas

  • @MikelThomas

Oh yeah Joe Satriani rocks. I listen "Surfing With The Alien" and "Is There Love in Space" alot. I also listen to Vinnie Moore, Paul Gilbert, Andy Timons, Eric Joionson, and John Petrucci's album "Suspended Animation".

  • @linkabove Don't forget to take a listen to the covers and my originals on youtube

    Thanks,

    MT

    Also cool pinball machine!

  • How did u make this cabinet I like the glowing buttons. Very cool cabinet. Whats that square blue glowy thing on the side.

  • @linkabove I drilled a hole in the buttons and then i put a led in it

(Look for more details bij arcadeshop.eu)

And the blue glowy thing is the fan on 2 sides

the cabinet is build from mdf and plexiglass and the rest is probably almost

the same as the other ones on internet like hyperpin

  • He Peter,

    gaaf man, echt goed gemaakt.

    Groet Dré
