  • Talk about a vocalist without talent = Vince Neil.... It's a good thing that SiXX (Frankie) has legal rights to all the songs (vocals/composition) , because Vince couldn't make it out of his "Own way"... I am sure that Frankie showed him enough to survive.... I am happy to be born with brains....

  • I'm 39. Graduated H.S. in 89'. All my teen yrs. were in the 80's! Wouldn't trade that for anything! Always loved the Crue!

  • Generally, I like heavier stuff, but man there is something about the Crue I just love.

  • Thanks again to the LAPD. If not for you this great song would not exist.

  • @zeppelin25101980 Aerosmith's "dude looks like a lady" is about the time the guys from Aerosmith mistook Vince for a hot chick at a bar once.

  • @ABCDEH11 ya i already knew that and the song money for nothing by Dire Straits is about the way they can get money for nothing and chicks for free. i read the heroin diaries

  • bands that didnt keep there sound from the 80s

metallica warrant europe motley bon jovi dokken def leppard even helix didnt what a shame.

  • oh and motleys new album sucked im 40 and love motley but why change your sound for example i love old keel they released a new album its great they kept there 80s sound dig it

  • I was around and fucking ROCKING it! 38yrs old still ROCKING it!

  • @carlos72hunting :) the late 30´s are the best years! yup! --- and that means we were there to hear these guys live! so great :D funny thing is that back then everybody wanted to be older and complained for not being born in the 60´s or 70´s! haha...

  • Vince was fuckin sexy. End of story.

  • @xfishcakes I know! I agree!! :)

  • KNOCK EM' DEAD KID!!!! THUMBS UP YOU DEAD MOTHER FUCKERS !!!

  • Hell motley crue. /m/

  • Have seen the Crue numerous times and their 80's and 90's stuff was the best! (Not so impressed with their latest offerings, so I gave the last show a miss). Their early stuff was raw, edgy and true to their form. They paved the way for so many copycat bands that followed (some of which were awesome... others were shite). I discovered them on the release of Shout and never looked back. I'm 41 now and have been playing old Crue most of the afternoon. Man... those were good days for music.

  • Since nobody did it here yet, I'll do it: THUMBS UP IF YOU WERE BORN IN THE WRONG DECADE.

  • @beautifulsarah100 no i`m just born wrong family!!!

  • I'll never forget this show. I was 11 years old and when this came on the TV everything changed for me forever after. Long Live CRÜE!!!

  • @seanwuzhere They did change the lives of so many (of us!) I'm so happy I was there too.... Man those years!

    Theatre of Pain! WOW!

  • @1Catherine101 You got that right Catherine! Such great memories from those days. :)

  • im 41, am an old school "functional rocker", and motley crue will always rule!

  • to those who wish they "were around" @ the time of this you didn't miss much. it was all big hair, volume, power chords, pounding, and screaming. it was also based on looks/image (not content) and it paved the way for what is around today... 100%, disposable shit that's easily forgotten. all music goes through a cycle. unfortunately, nothing good has been put out in the last 20 years. "Nevermind" was it.

Crue had balls/attitude, that's it. A+ for the clip, but only for nostalgia.

  • @GroffinTiffin oh my god fuck nirvana. im so sick of everyone parroting the almighty rolling stone magazine opinion of music. cobain was a drug addicted misfit like the crue guys, without the fun factor. nobodys ever been able to tell me why he was such a revolutionary songwriter. so beat it.

  • What songs did they play.

  • lol @0:18-0:22

  • My time machine is in the shop or I would be there.

  • Motley Crue fucking rules!!!!!!!!!!!!fuck JB SONGS!

  • Ah the good ol days. Seems like yesterday.

    Crue rules!

  • 3:35 Minutes of orgasm on our ears.

  • can some1 tell me if there is a DVD with their old concerts back in the 80s or early 90s ? i really wanted to be amazed on my Home cinema :)

  • deedee9960 - thank you so much for posting this! Love old Crue... its so cool seeing them in the early 80s. they are one OF THE BEST BANDS EVER!!!!

  • I was there for this. Shout hadn't been released yet. Heavy Metal day ruled. 350,000 people. Still engraved in my head.

  • i wish i were 30 years older-.-

  • @menkeforever i am 30 years older :D

  • Look for a metal double album from the 80's called "Killer Watts" also includes a song by the same name as this much much better by a group called Trooper.

  • vince neil is definately not "faggot"

hes had more sex in the band then anyone else

  • is the singer faggot???

  • @kickHimwheNisdoWn Haha no way dude, Vince has fucked more girls than Hugh Hefner!

  • @kickHimwheNisdoWn ummmm... Why, did you see someone that looked like him at one of your meetings?

  • @kickHimwheNisdoWn are you searchin for a partner?

  • @kickHimwheNisdoWn

Dude, the sing has seen more pussy than a toilet seat.

  • tommy is the man

  • I was alive and it was cool as sh*t to see these guys back in the day.

  • And lets see you come up with music that changes music today, oh right you cant, because you suck life

  • @1945musician are you retaded? Tokio hotel are just a bunch of fags that ONLY put on pounds of make-up. Granted, motley crue fid too, but they were one of the first to ever do that, that were guys, they were different, now they dont because too much people fucking copied them, like tokio hotel. And what the fuck does tokio hotel have to do with the band itself? Motley crue is just motley crew spelt differently, and a motley person is someone that looks odd, or different, them, and crew is just a

  • Those idiots lack talent! Tokio Hotel>Mötley Crüe

  • 21 suckers, Go to doctor Bastards.

  • "this song dedicated to the LAPD" i know every word of every song the crue ever did. even generation swine.

  • The best part of the concerts in the 80’s were the parking lot parties. Man we lived for the concerts back then.

  • @jakevilletramp Dude, I envy you! Concerts now-a-days are just get there, headbang for an hour or 2, then leave haha. I'm 15 now, I wish it was the 80s

  • The best part of the concerts in the 80’s were the parking lot parties. Man we lived for the concerts back then.

  • @jakevilletramp ,... ...umm yeah and maybe the MUSIC was cool too you suppose???? You give no credit to all the hard work the band and the crew did to play for you ....that IS the reason fans go to see shows,.... I would be up front cheering...... man what a thoughtless statement you made... (I know grillin and chillin to rock is fun.. but for goodness sake AT LEAST CREDIT the BAND)....

  • Shit the bed, do you mean these twinkies had a personality before tattoos? Lookie all that skin.

  • you can tell they were at their first big show with this one their playing like its a club

  • Kickin ass

  • Ye... This is This :D:D:D Motleyy Crue !!!

  • Like this if you think Motley Crue is great

  • Micks got a fuckin great guitar sound here, and a great riff too. Very underrated guitarist.

  • @eilrruughei he really is underrated...its pretty disappointing.

  • \m/

  • ula brenda esto si es rock

  • Vince sounds like a squawking parrot.

  • Dude- Vince Neil took this band to the starrs........ Lee , Sixx , Mars scarred to play this gig.

  • lol yeah they were, this was right after they sold out the whisky, went from maybe 500 to like.....all thos in the crowd...........i would be scared to!!! lol

  • I wish bands still dressed like that! Or at least I wish I was ALIVE when they did!

  • I agree with you on that one they were so many gr8 bands back then not the crap we have 2day. I was born 2 late =(

  • I'm 28 & it was fucking awesome growing up to this!!

  • @BigBozSicenunow At a very young age I may add! You where getting a great education in Rock and that's as it should be!

  • @BigBozSicenunow When? In 2002?

  • there's still good bands out there, you just have to sort through them because anyone can record an album or look famous. the internet is the reason we don't have big rock stars anymore. There's so many genres and bands out there now. it's the media and government. Divide and conquer. The more people don't agree (taste in music), the less they unite. i wish i could go back in time, before the internet.

  • Its really not because of the internet its about talent and being real.

  • im not talking about internet giving people talent. If you read slower, you see that i was saying it gives people access. And now anyone can post music and a website that equal, or greater than one of an actual celebrity. Do you really think I consider all these people to be rockstars?

  • ya but there can be really talented people that can't be completely famous. the main reason is that theres too many bands in the world, we can't always cope on knowing like 123,434,363,765,437,53 bands. that would even fill up your journal

  • Okay maybe i said it differently. I dont consider them to be rockstars either. You're right about internet giving people acces but its also greedy music industrys fault who only want money and dont really care about talent. I agreed you there but interent isnt the reason why we dont have good music its because almost everything is mainstream and people dont have any taste in music.

Damn longest comment i ever wrote =/

  • @deedee9960 i was born late to all these wanna be metal bands and this pop shit these days they need real metal bands mot ozzy and motley it wasnt like at ozzfest this year but ozzfest was still AMAZING motley and ozzy played together that was the best part was those 2

  • @deedee9960 dude so was i im 14

  • @IronJudasCrue41

lol, I agree, I love a lot of music today, but the image is just of ordinary guys playing. Crue had attitude in music and appearance.

  • @IronJudasCrue41 Someone Should dare them to go on tour dressed like that

  • @IronJudasCrue41 I'll bring it back!

  • @IronJudasCrue41 my band dresses like 80's glam! we're all into that and trying to bring it back!!! >:)

  • @IronJudasCrue41 My band will dress like this :)

  • @alisimon5 Thanks for supporting glam dude, my only friends that like glam don't play an instrument, or the friends that play instruments either don't wanna dress like this or don't like glam :/

  • @IronJudasCrue41 yeah, I would like, too and I was born to late, too. Love '80s!

  • @IronJudasCrue41 I agree! Back then, rock stars LOOKED and PLAYED/SOUNDED like ROCKERS-or SUPER HEROS! In other words, in my opinion, rockers were LARGER-THAN-LIFE! TODAY, they look like your next door neighbor, fast food employees, and/or homeless people!

  • @AngelofAnguish Yeah seriously, or their just emos.

  • @IronJudasCrue41 dude check out dirty pednny, crashdiet, blackrain, breakdown and sleazy trash

  • @IronJudasCrue41

It's a good thing they dont dress like this anymore. All these dudes are in their 50's

and would be on a "people of Walmart email" LOL

  • @IronJudasCrue41 I do lol

  • @IronJudasCrue41 what about cradle of filth they kinda dress like that lol

  • fuck yeah! awesome

  • Mick Mars is awesome guitarist

  • I WAS THERE !

  • HOW WAS IT??!

  • The Crue was in their zone at that time. The shout at the devil album, their style and performance is tough to beat!!

  • GREATEST BAND TO EVER GRACE US WITH THEIR PRESENCE HAHA MOTLEY KIKS ASS HARD "Vince cant sing worth a FUCK now tho'' =(

  • I was there. Glen Helen Park.

  • I was thinking the same thing how can you be 17 and you were there? I think you meant to say you were 17 at the time. I was born too late =(

  • i'm 17 and i love the crue. no one else my age does. i was actually at this concert. it was bad ass.

  • How can you be 17 and been at that concert, it was 26 years ago...

  • people poke fun now but honestly at the time this shit was more entertaing than Marilyn Manson (no offense marilyn)

  • Vince's voice was on life support during this festival!! He was young then and probably not quite accustomed to saving his voice before a big show, and the constant supply of drugs and booze couldn't have helped.

Rob Halford on the other thing was killing it out there (Priest)! I've got to find the US Fest on DVD somewhere.......

  • yes, pure evil.

  • The blade is red kid!

    Knock 'em dead!

    Hook 'em Horns bitches!!!!!!

  • one of my favorite crue songs Crue Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol Vince is Coked out of his mind

  • Indeed, we are were back then.

  • I'm black, I'm black, I'm black!

  • i seen gnr open for motley crue in lakeland fl in november 87 what a great concert that was!! tommie upside down playing a drum solo. i got caught burning one when the crue hit the stage !!! the cop was so cool he let me finish it !!

  • Mick Mars rules!!!

  • @maiden666guitar Mick is a cockaroach doused in Raid.

  • The Greatest Metal Gig in Daylight!!!

  • motley crue is really the last full on badass band around

  • man band were so girly back then but I grew up on this stuff lol

  • nikki does a hell of a job but really mick finishes it off

  • Forgive me, I meant MICK MARS incredible guitar work.

  • Sixx deserves MAJOR cred for this band! Though it's Vince upfront, Tommy going nuts on the drums and Nicks incredible guitar that most people notice it's actually Sixx that WRITES the stuff! I was amazed at how he incorporated Punk rythmns into "La Glam Rock" once I realized how much his bass tempo affects the bands grooves.

  • I LOVE MOTLEY CRUE

    ♥

  • i got a question here who is the best band out of LA- Guns n Roses, Motley Crue or the Doors?

  • motely crue
