well I don't record in HD but I do output it to HD, I generally use wmv then 6mbps hd 720-30p video as a template.

Edit your movie and render it as WMV then below it says template click 6 MBPS HD 720-30p video.

Check out my vids thats to see what it's like, however keep in mind I recorded in SD.

You can use a programme called Sony vegas and use the NewBlueFX plug in but keep in mind it is a lot of money.
