As soon as he stepped on the ice and fell on his ass in game 1 I knew we were fucked. It's gonna be a lot more competitive this year. The Pens looked like utter shit in the Finals last year. This year, this series should be very entertaining, especially with the Marian Hossa factor. It's GREAT for the sport that these two teams are matchin up again, especially after the disappointment in '96 when everyone's dream matchup was Pens/Wings and they both lost in the conference finals.

It may not have been a great goal, but the Red Wings clearly outplayed the Penguins throughout the series. The Pens were unbelievably lucky to win that overtime game in Detroit and they were outplayed in game six as well. Also, I'd bet a lot of money that the Pens won't win it this year...they're long shots!

yeah, the series was rather boring. the Red Wings dominated even when the refs saw fit to give pittsburgh their undeserved extended 5-on-3 power plays. the series with the most intensity were the Stars/Ducks - Stars/Sharks and Sharks/Flames series. the rest were just, well - eh.
