It's called stiff plastic mesh. The mesh she was using looked like it was grade 7. You can buy it for something like 30 cents a sheet at arts-n-crafts stores like Michaels or Joans. You could probably get a better deal if you look for stiff plastic mesh at Walmart or online.
You can buy upholstery foam at absurdly expensive prices at fabric stores or places like Joans. The thin, half inch thick stuff costs about $9 a yard and the price just goes up the thicker the foam gets. You might be able to get a good deal wholesale online somewhere, but upholstery foam is still going to be very expensive.
I'd say make me something but #1 monies and #2 I'd either have to get contacts or wait til i got new glasses and put the old lenses in the eye part. haha by the way.. It looks kinda scary/ creepy with out fur on the mouth when you have the teeth in ^^
@Remus2Lupos its not a problem, I just hate it when people tell me exactly what they want and is all for it and then they drop out. thanks for letting me know now, good luck! And I recommend looking at "VanDyke's Taxidermy Supplies" on the internet for some parts of the mask such as eyes, teeth, ears, nose, and a tongue.
If your not going to 'verbally' explain anything then 'mute' the background sound then use in-video text to explain. Try keeping the camera still. Watched this for 1 minute 11 seconds was all i could stand which was a shame as this is a good how to. Too much camera movement creating too much distraction.
That looks like a very unstable jaw. Not a very good design idea, the bands holding it to the main frame aren't tight enough and you're risking the upper part of the masking moving slightly with the jaw when it's done. It's best to leave the prosthetic jaw separate and have the main mask go over it somehow. This doesn't look very effective, as you can tell near the end when more is added to it. It can't support the weight.
You can get a modeling clay called Pluffy. It won't harden until baked so you can rework it a lot before finishing it off, it comes in a variety of colors and it's lighter than most clays.
I can't speak for everyone, but when I get fur I usually get it at Joanne's Fabrics. Wal*Mart had VERY NICE, very high quality fur once but it hasn't been there since I saw it that one time :/ But there are sites that sell faux fur online, just to a Google search :D
:o I went to FabricLand in Canada(not giving specific location) and they had a small selection..and also, the fur cost me $37 a yard, and that was on sale!
looks like 2 pins on either side, with elastic bands attactched. Then at the bottom of the bands 2 pins attatched into one peice of wiring, with the above mentions mimicked on the other side
looks good

Did you put duct tape on it to make your own pattern and then traced it onto the fur? or did you just put on the fur with trial and error?
