If you go to Busrwood for a night out you're an idiot and especially Northbridge... stick to your local area, Fremantle's great for an eat out and definite head down to Little creatures Loft bar is great, Now that the mine workers are heading back east the bogans are leaving.........

First night eh!!!! Been here for 5 years ex Syd for 20years, Haven't had a problem, But got too know the locals first and they alway's pushed to stick away from Nthbridge... The Cross is more safer.... Gold Coast is great stuff, heaps more to do, Broadbeach has the better nightlife than Surfers.. Best of luck...

@catatonicable yea i moved there from new zealand spent 2 months there. its a nice town but i didnt like the people got beaten up by 3 skin heads my first night and all i was doing was walking down the street

@munterboy I was born in that city. The main problems, are that renting or buying a house can be expensive, and if you like to shop 24/7 it's a problem. WA's retail trading hours allow the little guy to make a healthy living; if you have over 20 employees, you can be open from 8am-6pm weekdays, till 9pm thursdays, and 8-5 on Saturdays. Some precincts, like Fremantle are exempt
