My 2004 Solara has the same engine as your car but has a Injen short ram intake instead of a K&N short ram intake, I gotta say that the K&N sounds much better than the Injen.

I wish my car has a manual transmission just like your xb, I can only imagine how much more fun driving it would be. :D

Scotty, you need to do Dyno Runs before and after the installation. I would bet they are the same or less BHP as the map for the car will not account for a filter change.
