Unfortunately cute Horsti died last year due to a not curable organ-related illness. He was one of the tamest budgies I ever had, but because of that he was never able to really fall in love with another budgie. He had his friend Charlie and they were quite cute together, but I think Horsti always believed he was half human and half budgie. Therefore I think it's better to have birds that are not that tame, they can participate better in the flock live.
Great Keets and cage. You have said you have both males and females. Do they breed? If not how do you prevent it? I would like a setup like yours but want to avoid breeding if possible.
No, they don't breed. There are so many budgies which need a nice new home, so I don't want to breed, I prefer to adopt ('second-hand') budgies.
Budgies normally won't lay eggs if they have no breeding box. They need the dark environment before they can lay eggs. So I make sure that they have no hiding places where it could be dark.
how much budgies do u have?

I got it second-hand on Ebay. It was custom made for budgies and I am very happy with it.

Wow, I really love your setup, and all your budgies look so contented. If only all budgies were this lucky.
