  • I dust them.shake em up in a bag with flour,garlic powder,and cayenne.always comes out nice n crunchy.lol

  • You should bake with flour if u like it kinda crunchy

  • @ghostboy679 do you dust them with flour like a prime rib roast? Or add flour in the oil or marinade? Crunchy is the only way.

  • You need to put the wings on a broiler pan or something that drains the chicken fat, nothing worse than chicken lying in fat

  • I like my wings crispy, but I'll certainly try the sauce recipe. Finally, a wings recipe that doesn't mention ranch dressing. I think ranch dressing on a buffalo wing became a trend when some idiot saw someone eating wings with something white and assumed it was ranch dressing. Putting ranch dressing on a wing is like putting ketchup on a pizza because it looks like tomato sauce and pretending to like it. People only eat it this way because they think others eat it this way. It's disgusting.

  • Nice ! I cook em the same way. I marinate a few hours and slow cook for the first round. For the first round, I slow cook em' swimming in sauce so they suck up the flavor. For the secong round of cooking, I drain the sauce, turn the heat up to get a LiL crust on the outside and pour more sauce over them before presentation.

    Will have to try your sauce recipe.

  • @vtasurf The current way most places deep fry the wings is for the faster cooking to meet demand.. the original buffalo wings were marinated in the hot sauce then baked so they'd be packed with flavor and be totally crispy.
