@MrErock5353 thank you. I love the 2000, but understandably it's not as fuel efficient as the 2004. the guy who bought the 04 has been very happy with it.
the 6 liter one looks a bit nicer exterior wise (keypad on door, fx4 package, side mirror turn signals) but all in all both great trucks! i'd rather the 7.3 engine myself over the 6 liter.
@Uuuuuu15 yes, the 6.0 does have a couple little things different, including remote keyless entry. I do like the mirrors better too, but the known reliability of the 7.3 well outweighs a couple goodies. as far as the bodies both are equally nice with original paint. thanks for watching.
@chatrkat you no if you wat you could find a pair of mirriors just like you had on your 6.0 with signals they fit right on but you have to splice the wires and if you really want you could put 08-11 super duty mirriors to i would go for the new mirriors it will look good
@uberbadnoob6699666 yes I had thought about doing exactly that if I can find a pair in nice condition, and at the right price. I'm also going to put the newer style running boards on, just have not had the time to pick up a set yet. thanks for watching and also offering the mirror upgrade suggestion. I am completely happy I bought this truck, it's been as perfect as I expected. it pulls the trailer without complaining too. cheers! -Kat
@chatrkat yup i love my 2001 7.3 extended cab and my dad has a 2005 6.0 it is a little under powerd but gets the job done. yes i really like both oh your trucks i really wanted a regular cab but i could not find one around where i live that wasnt beat up and had 200 thousand plus. you found a rare truck also i dont no if you would care but you could also uggrade your grill to the 05 to 07 and really makes the truck look sharp
@uberbadnoob6699666 between the two trucks I'd say my 6.0 had faster acceleration, but they both had ample power for me. the 6.0 did get better fuel economy. quite a change from my 93 F150 with the 4.9 gas motor.
nice rigs
