I'M NOT! I think it's a very good deterrent for repeat offenders. As yet, no one executed has come back into the prison system. The only problem with it is the lawyers delay it tooooo long. Two years and see ya. It makes me sick that someone can brutily murder and child and live in the lap of luxury for the rest of his life. THey should be punished for therie deeds.

I looked this up on the web, it is a true story. John F. Morgan was the last person hanged in West Virginia. I think tom T. Hall wrote this tune, I heard Flatt singing it and he did a great job on it.
