  • Aaron Cook the Best!!!

  • @igordz I know what you meant and I agree that that is usually the case. Now what's your point? I'm talking about Macro martial arts and for no apparant reason you're now talking about micro.

  • @igordz Not only does that have no relevance to what we're talking about, it's not true, you can't deal in absolutes like that it's the sort of thing you hear in movies. What was your point anyway?

  • @igordz At the end of the days they are both useless. But ITF is much more effective than WTF. WTF practicioners can't punch in the slightest and would get seriously hurt if they tried to just kick in a fight against anyone who has a decent sense of timing or distance. ITF kicks are better than WTF kicks anyway, it's not all about power, you see all these stupid kicks and they miss and fall over, ITF get knockouts with controlled kicks and they stay standing. WTF= badly performed ballet.

  • wow thats a lot of money for a match! :O think i might just learn TKD!

  • it is a reason why ITF not is in the olympics.. it sucks!

  • Comment removed

  • 270,000!!? WTF??

  • was that the 1st time steven has lost in 6 years but now its time to train

  • Urgh, WTF. Get ITF in the olympics so this dancing isn't glorified any more.

  • @MilitantBlackGuy1 dude, ITF is pure bullshit...

  • @Fr13dN3wb ITF vs WTF, ITF wins every time, even under your rules. Checkmate.

  • @MilitantBlackGuy1 Dude ITF is worse than TKD point fighting...

  • lol great celebration!!!

  • Aww...he wass trying so hard not to cry cutee ^_^

  • i still like stevey better, hes my idol :)

  • It took 5 seeconds then KO! :/

  • Gladiator!

  • Hey wait a minute...this is the only move Aaron knows. Most fighters now know how he fights. And no he has got a long way to go before being the best. Put anyone from the national team of Iran in front of him and he will lose 100%. Oh yeah...he lost in Sweden a week ago and also in the French Open.

  • @HUMOON1 Humoon1: Aaron won over Farzad Abdollahi at British Open a few months ago. I am a huge fan of Iranians and Aron as well. I love Nassrazadani's strategy and Yousef's power kicks. But I think Aaron has something most other athletes lack! He's too energetic/explosive/fast for his weight devision. He fights! he makes tkd really fun to watch! The combinations he throws are insane! He is a serious opponent, that's all I mean!

  • Comment removed

  • way to act like you've won before fuckdick. real nice

  • he is cryin, because he is the best:)

everybody will crie,if they will at this position :)

  • I think that Aaron Cook is going to be a dominant force in the welter weight division at a the world or olympic level. I can definetly see him meddaling in the olympics in 2012.

  • $270,000???!!!!!

  • @uzekz pesos = like $6.82 US

  • Lmao, thats the first time I've ever seen Steven Lopez not pissed off for loosing lmao.

  • bs just bs i tell u

  • I wonder what Steven said at 2:55? Lmao!!

  • PWNED :D

  • GAE BAL got the shin banging baster!!

  • at first i was getting mad because looked like cook grabbed lopez's hogu, but watching it again and again i see that lopez leaned over and took it in the face. shame because lopez is my hero and i plan on going to the 2016 olympics and represent the USA, Michigan, and the US Army. please wish me luck because i just had knee surgery and might not go til 2020 if i do. i'm only 20 so i got time. even if its just one shot. i hope i can be trained by the lopez team also.

  • @smitty446 thats the thing with taekwondo injuries suck!

  • Respect for Aaron Cook, he has so much tallent, power, and hes well FiT. Aaron trains in my city, (Manchester) so get lost to some of you loosers...

  • he was lucky steven better then him

  • Cook and Lopez or both very dirty fighters period

  • Jesus Christ, could Lopez be any more fragile? He's acting like he's dying up there.

  • why are people biased to one or the other, both are insanely good, Lopez a bit dirty.... but who cares

  • haha. cook was using lopez to balance to do the kick and he still missed but while lopez ducked, cook got lucky and flung his leg up. But still good fight

  • I think Aaron Cook is a really really talented athlete.. a young kid but with fast and strong kicks.. i'm sure Steven Lopez would be impressed too.. He is definitely someone to look out for in the years to come..

I got no idea why the hell some people are criticizing him... -.-! just watch.. if u are not impressed, then just leave~~ if he is really that lucky, then he wouldnt have won so many gold medals... dumb-ass!

  • Wow, that was a pretty random shot. Cook probably couldnt believe it himself.

  • just a lil FYI theres no person in this whole world who can say there a 2 time olympic gold medalist 1 time bronze medalist and a 5 time world champ. steven lopez has paid his dues an is the best. hats off to aaron. steven is still the best. just remember everyone has to loss

"one who does not fall, does not stand"

  • luck bs the UK can suck my nuts

  • Yea maybe he knocked him out, but all he does is fall, if you cant fight stayin on your fuck then change sport...!

  • Not even slightly lucky - I have done Tae Kwon Do and Karate for a long time - that was totally opportunistic and very very skillful. As with all fighting styles, sometimes you connect, sometimes you don't. But the intention was definitely there - and to connect with that force while going backwards was top drawer....

  • lucky shot or not....

    He's a real winner!!

  • I think it was a Technic skill by cook ....

but I don't know ....will Lopez go to London Olympics for gold ?

  • i just got into TKD.... which one's steven lopez? Sorry

  • nah no way flukey...Steven Lopez...whoever that is...got beat up by a kid, not even 20! Lopez got rinsed!

  • i think it's a lucky shot,....

  • that shit was lucky tss steven had this fight in the palm of his hands

  • look that respect that cook shows after the huge win, to steven lopez and his coach,

coach of lopez on the other hand tells him ''ok man go a way ''at 2:14'' and check oute what lopez says at 2:56 ....

u can t be the winner for ever :S

  • one word:LUCKY!!!

  • @yanniske69 damn right that shit was lucky

  • Ilove Tkd♥

  • lopez had cook clean, that was a very flukey kick that he landed.

  • @wwechamp7860 fluke or not, he still knocked the fucker out!!

  • @smokeybirdman hahahahahhaha

  • Honestly i think that knockout was a lucky kick haha...

    Inglish

I think the kick he broke his hand costume

right at the minute 3:46 there is

  • Did he just win 270,000 dollars?

  • WTF DID HE EARN 270k?!??!?! money?

  • right? I thought maybe 10 k ...but 270 K is a hell of a lot. especially for taekwondo.

  • mexican dollars

  • Awesome slowmo! Very deadly!

  • nice battle men.... much peace and love...

  • Great Respect from Aaron Cook, hard to see any of this in Canada..... =(

  • That is not taekwondo, he just falls down :S

  • shut up u cunt!

  • I sure love watching the respect for one another. You both are forces to be reckoned with.

  • Come On Aaron

  • finally someone beat that flash prik

  • Steven has a suspect chin; I saw him KO'd in Miami at the 2000 Olympics Pan Am Qualifier by the Argentina representative, and he went down like a sack of potatoes there as well. Good sportsmanship by Cook. I honestly feel that Steven is losing his edge since the 2008 Olympics. Fighters have figured his game out, and the young up and comers are going to start beating him more often now. He has suffered 2 bad KO's, and it will be easier for him to get KO'd in the future; time to retire soon.

  • He got knocked out in the Pan Am Qualifier because he already qualified. He should have taken more seriously and got knocked out. But everyone gets it one time or another. Son Tae-jin is 21 and he got knocked recently (after he beat Mark Lopez for the gold medal). Steven is not getting old or losing his edge. He just lost. Plain and simple.

  • I don't think you meant to say that the reason he was KO'd was BECAUSE he was already qualified...the two have nothing to do with each other. I know he already qualified, but argentina was taunting him to fight so he did based on ego alone and paid for it. Steven looked terrible in ALL his fights in Beijing, and was beaten up pretty bad prior to the final with aaron cook in mexico. he is not looking sharp like he used to, and he may have to go to middle weight, or heavy, or get out soon.

  • shevegen: Steven is 32 years old and Aaron is 19 years.

  • aaron is how many years younger?

Steven really gets too old. How the heck can you KO someone when you fall down, with your SECOND kick??? Sorry Steven but such a "defence" sucks. Steven is no longer young enough to keep up. Downvote me all you want, but this is the truth.

  • wow man i felt the emotion he was having wow wat a epic ending

  • perras los q comentan

  • Well done wee man

  • lol steven should retire soon.. he had a long career with many titles..

he better end as a great fighter.. but i feel its time a new champion should come

  • ROFL 1:20 this is how i control traffic

  • Cook held him at his uniform!

  • I saw they make promotion of the full dvd.

But i heard it was stolen.

  • Why Steven doesn't wear gloves?

  • cos its wtf not itf :P

Bravo cook bravoo!

  • Wondering how many copies of their book have already sold.

  • Everybody talking about this ko.But a ko can happen to anyone.I heard Lopez had a difficult previous match against Farzad from Iran he was already kick'd heavenly at the head.

  • anywhere we could watch/find Steve's other match with Farzad? That should be a fun one to watch especially after the Worlds controversy!

  • very nice!

  • it was the double kick. wow

  • i know its not hard to knock someone out.. Cos i have done in a tournament a few years back. And yes, it is easy if someone is falling onto your foot - but when youre falling backwards onto the ground at the same time? Against Steven Lopez? Not easy mate.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

STEVEN LOPEZ, q bn madrazo se llevó

  • steven lopez is soo over rated.. he isn't as cool as everyone makes him seem. i'm kinda lovin this arron cook kid tho!

  • even if he lost he still is the champion steven lopez the best !!

  • See more cheating from the British camp and a ref looking the other way.

  • Whether it was lucky or not.. It still isnt easy.

  • follow the links? Why dont you try following taekwondo, then youll see how easy it really isnt.

  • If you follow the link you will see tae kwon do is not the only art followed the girl you will see is doing tae kwon do and if you look around her links you will see her doing events against karate and kung fu which she is also graded in. Call it what its just lucky

  • Check the Rules ref grabing the Body Armour and pulling before a kick you will find disq so if steves camp start checking the video reply they can like the British camp did at the Olympics get the disission changed hope they start looking or can the British cheat and have others turn a blind eye to there cheating.

  • Hang on a second, are you not english yourself? as i see on your profile....you obviously show no loyalties to your fellow athletes. The result will never be changed from this match simply because the athlete did nothing wrong and steven was kod end of. And when it comes to replay it should be the british who has the most complaining todo, non scoring of clear points, steven getting a cheap fourth point when cook clearly blocks and lopez holding or attempting to hold leg before ko..

  • In our own camp if you watch the video of ours you see that same camp is a have no loyalties to there own. And we have a fight video thats going on that you will need to see to belive and its the British camps event same with the video on here already read the rules. catching a leg to stop it is a block.

  • Still Await your comment on the link video

  • hey..i thought i saw aaron pulling steven's shirt. i'm curious right now.. why they allowed aaron and steven to hug each other..?? if i'm not mistaken both opponent cant hug each other. we are only allowed to clinch... not hugging!!

  • fact if you can find a ref who will do there job

  • You will see before the falling over kick aaron pulls the shoulder body armour look in the rules and you see its covered hope stevens camp go for the video reply and make them do what the British camp did at the olympics cheating cannot be allowed and that is how aaron won the foul was the start point of his falling over

  • Comment removed

  • just cos you see it in other contact sports, doesnt mean its easy you stupid fuck.

  • It is easy if you follow the links you will see why I can say that

  • how did he manage to generate enough power to knock him out like that, while falling, straight after an axe kick from the clinch, amazing

  • its not that hard to knock somebody out dude, especially wen the guy getting hit is falling onto a kick coming full speed at his face

  • woo!!nice

taekwondo has been improving... intresting bouts the news rule.

  • not any thing new check out the old rule basic same

  • thats easy see it in other contact sports all the time

  • yeah, are you retarded?

  • No its a fact you do not like but its a fact

  • DUDE THAT WAS SO AWSOME DOUBLE KICK

  • yEsss!!! i hate steven lopez he is a show off

  • Just lucky he lost his footing and lop walking into it.

  • Beautiful aaron, the future is here, an era is coming to an end.

  • This Little Kid Jus Got Lucky.

    Steven Lopez Is the BEST*.

    Hes SEXY TOO.

    -Lopez Fam is the Best-

  • fantastic stuff ,well done Aaron

  • He is just sensational... Well he is the aggressor... Been watching Aaron since last year he has improved a lot...

  • Luck.

  • I'm a HUGE Lopez fan, when i was younger i used to think he was invincible, but i've been watching Aaron cook ever since i think he fought in a tournament USAT showed online, he is like the steven lopez of the UK, i will like to see how successful he is going to be in the future

  • @taekwondodude1: well im also a huge lopez fan... but...aaron cook i think his only good feature are the double kicks cause the KO was because of that

  • Beautiful. Lopez the legend. Cook future.

  • Well done Aaron! i will add that although his young, he is a really good fighter atleast i found out when i fought Aaron cook on the 2009 UK nationals and lost i the first round, see ya next time Cook hopefully without a hmstrig tear :P *Bows*

  • pure fwkan luck

  • awfuckingsome

  • hmm so thats why one uses their makki(s) rather than ducking down...

  • Another ass hole Makki

  • The taekwondo world is partying right now! Using his kneed to cut his opponent is Steven's trademark. This is a long awaited pay back.

  • warms my heart seeing Steven Lopez get knocked out. That knee cut of yop chagi that continually hurts Lopez' opponents and has given him countless of undeserved wins through out the years is a disgrace to the sport.

  • Good sportsmanship on both sides.

  • Yes, very good sportsmanship from both sides, indeed . I am impressed. Very awesome video. 5 stars.

  • You never drop your hands, that was an awesome knock out!! great job. ciao

  • Wow I thought Aaron was on his way down but what a kick. Awesome job well executed.

  • Steven is a top national fighter representing the U.S. Olympic team...he didn't get there by cheating...you're just being irrational now, his Iranian opponent fought dirty, and paid the price by getting disqualified, just like Cuba and their shitty temper...apparently some foreign countries don't teach martial arts tenets or morality.

  • some countries really teach the tenets so well that they come here to US to pass it on like me I came from Brazil!

  • you can't even be serious about morality when Steven's brother's action in that fight says it all how morality of Martial Arts is emphasized in the states. FYI, Hadi Saei of Iran lost his complete tooth in Athens04 against the Korean, but neither him nor his coach acted like the whole world owes them something! why? because they were "foreign countries"...BTW that punch got diverted to the face by Steven't front leg up, an accident! just like that headbutt with Hadi!

  • Just to be clear - my post was not about morality per se; I was specifically responding to the accusation that Steven was "cheating" (e.g. intentionally breaking the competition rules to gain an advantage) in his match against Iran at Worlds. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the way the Lopez family comports themselves in competition, but that doesn't make them cheaters. Also a big fan of Hadi. :)

  • Sorry! my post was to address KZOUSE's comment not yours. my bad!

  • Teaching taekwondo Tenets in this country? You gotta be a freaking idiot! Americans we don't believe in this! What makes you think that these Olympic taekwondo fighters are martial artists? They are being trained for one thing - scoring points. Just look at the Lopez brothers and see how arrogant they are. I am sure there are many more athletes from the taekwondo teams are like this not just Steven and Mark.

  • Comment removed

  • and you're even more of an idiot thinking I was putting down Americans. If anything our country has more etiquette than CUBA or IRAN. I was defending the Lopez family because, ONCE AGAIN, they didn't get where they are by cheating, they trained hard to become an olympic family.

  • dude, i know the lopez family, and im not gonna say they didnt work at all for everything they have, but alot of wat they have now they got by using people, stabbing them in the back, fighting dirty, and deception. you shouldnt believe the publicity.... theres a dirty hidden truth to that family.
