Was the doctor wrong...probably. We don't know because the actress is typically 18+, so I'm not sure a crime was even committed. We shouldn't be allowing tv shows to trap people for money, especially in this arena. It's important to prevent underage sex crime but entrapment aint the way. Since there isn't an actual 13 yr old victim, we can't really know how she was affected.

Was the doctor wrong...probably. We don't know because the actress is typically 18+, so I'm not sure a crime was even committed. We shouldn't be allowing tv shows to trap people for money, especially in this arena. It's important to prevent underage sex crime but entrapment aint the way. Since there isn't an actual 13 yr old victim, we can't really know how she was affected.

I guess this procedure is normal in America and what not, but over here, you have to have proof and in most cases, the cops and in this case dateline, would get sued faster than a speeding bullet. Not to mention the fact that dateline convinced him to come over..

One of these To Catch a Predator investigations ended with the suspect committing suicide. Both the television network and the police department got sued, and that was the end of To Catch a Predator.
The series is not being filmed any more.

On the other hand, I have seen young girls and guys come on 2 older people in a very "grown up & seductive fashion." They lie about their age, make themselves look older, & behave like grown ups.
