What I don't get it so the O2 only works in the uk as a pay as you go phone ???

And it cant work in the USA ???

Cuz I'm thing of buying one and I live in California but I want to make sure it works here before I by one

@stanbarley No, O2 is a phone company, like Verizon in the USA, which sells iPhones on either £40~ a month contracts or pay and go where you buy the iPhone for around £400 pounds. It has Quad band GSM so you can use it in the UK and pretty much anywhere, including the USA.
