I love this song from the moment I heard it! Still love his voice & 'miss' him but (my opinion) he did what he felt was right to do & I respect his decision. Right or wrong it doesn't matter,he felt he tried everything & it didn't help,so he decided to end the suffering for him & his family and sometimes it shows more love to your child to end it like he did.He gave her pain with his death but it's not as bad as the pain she would have had seeing him suffering & being depressed all these years.

@qounqer I would quite put Kurt Cobain on the level of Hendrix and Lennon but just one notch lower. The one with the Tomas Haake's, Layne Staley's, Chris Cornell's and Maynard James Keenan's, of which todays generation is abundant. The problem is, that all these guys are a clear notch above other musicians yet just on par with each other. We dont have a definitive musical leader like we did from the 50's through to the 90's.
