I know mostly little kids come on here but Nas just isn't on Jay's level. Maybe he is a better rapper but Jay and him both came from nothing but Jay is one of the most powerful Black Men in the US, he has one of the finest women who is one of the most powerful Black Women in the US! you're talking financially. That's all jay wins at. but as far as hip hop music and as an artist, you said nas may be a better rapper. there is not "may be". It's a fact that nas is a better rapper. and anyone with clear logic that listens to their music will see that fact clearly. So even if nas does go bankrupt, so what if jay is the winner. He will still go down as not as great a rapper as nas, regardless of who goes bankrupt first or last.

Not everyone looks at skill anymore and jay z doesn't keep it real as nas does. Nas is more of a leader, despite being above in sales and music. This is just an example of maturity and respect level that is commonly shared by both emcees, however there has always been a fine line between Jay's love and distaste for Nas primarily because Nas is more of a street philosopher and social activism than Jay is with his Blueprints and commercialised appeal to his music.
