How to make an Origami Crane-Lily Box Crane Module

3:28 just putting a marker in for those who need to jump to the two units for making the crane side pieces. I have Tomoko's book where this model is and I really appreciate this video because it wasn't diagrammed very well imho. There were several areas where things could be told to line up with other folds and the book had no info on that, so TYVM. :-)

i'm back.After many many hours i finished the box :D it looks GREAT...it's a present for my girlfriend's birthday..hope she'll like it.I had some problems at 5:34 and 6:33 because you can see from this angle exactly the way you are doing that,but after i stayed an hour on each :))...i got it.If i should do another box i would finish it in aprox. an hour,maybe a little more.First time it's harder.Anyway...A TIP FROM ME: use a smoth,thin paper...because i didn't,caused me some difficulties.THANKS

hy.i appreciate your work...but you should work slower..and show us more details....i'm staying here for 3 hours and i'm still working at the box....momently i'm blocked at 6:30.I don't understand what's the problem.i hope i'll finish it..

babraellaatje!! when you open the box at the start of the video, there was a sheel like thingy in side right? That was in the special part of my orgiami book! Unfortunately, they didn't show the instructions for it.. perhaps, if you made it, can you make a video showing how to do it? =D I love your orgami videos! I've learnt some really nice stuff! The yellow-blue paper is speacial origami paper a friend gave to me ;)

do you need a different sized paper for the base??

No, you use the same size but vary the box size by making the purple triangle shown at 1:02 a little smaller ...so you don't fold it at this step, exactly to the line (partial fold) but a little short of that fold this way your box base will be a little smaller ;)
