wtf, i clicked on this expecting it to be nuked, not "omg pull it out its on fire!". thought this was done by those cool guys that are willing to sacrifice microwaves for the good of mankind!. You sirs, fail. plz remove this fail microwave vid.
Hay que ser muy gilipollas para hacer semejante cosa. No lo entiendo, hubiera sido mejor meter tu puta cabeza en el microondas a ver que efecto tiene, ¿no te dio por eso?, que lástima joder.
It isn't a chip. It's a metallic foil strip for authenticating the bill. Anything metallic in a microwave sparks and pops, because the microwave waves bounce off of it rather than go through it like food and other material. That's why they say not to put metal in a microwave.
@musubi69 as you said, its a metallic "strip." Which means it goes across the whole bill, top to bottom. Only a small section popped. If she were to put the euro bill back inside the microwave, nothing else would happen. The rest of the metallic strip would stay intact.
According to your logic, why didn't the rest of the strip get affected?
@J1CA1 That's not Mexico, that's in Spain. You know, where Spanish comes from... the country in the continent called Europe, where they use Euro as currency, like the bill in the clip... Of course you do not, you're American!
@icovada because all Americans are idiots. That's why whenever there is a natural disaster (even in countries that despise the U.S.) They hold their hands out for our money, and America always helps. Maybe we are idiots and should close the purse strings.
@chuckdamage all countries despise U.S. , didnt you know that? i think world woud be much better place without US. By US i dont mean people who live there, but system and goverment who take all the resorces they can get no mather what the cost is to envoierment or the people. So yes i believe most of us despise US.
@melanie1254 No there are not. Hold a euro bill against the light. See the black and white pattern on the left half? That's metal strips inside, not rfids.
instead of the terrorsists strapping bombs to themselves and killing alot of ppl, why dont they go into a bank with a large EMP pulse "bomb" and wipe all the information clean off the computers.
"16 he also compelled all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, the freemen and the slaves, to have a mark put on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that no one might be able to buy or sell unless he bore the mark of the beast's name or the number corresponding to his name. 18 here intelligence comes in. let him who has the mind for it calculate the number of the beast, for it is a man's number, and his number is six hundred sixty-six."
"They will fling their silver into the streets and their gold will become an abhorrent thing; their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They cannot satisfy their appetite nor can they fill their stomachs, for their iniquity has become an occasion of stumbling."
to be honest it think that looks lik the metal thread woven through thepaper like in pound notes over here. You can see some more burns starting in a straight line either side of the big one.if youd left it in longer i suspect it would have burnt in half pretty much. I certainly do belive the chips going in to money though, end the anonimity of cash it would be wet dream for them.
i think its a little strip to validate the authenticity of the bill. any cashier who verifies big bills (as their supposed to) will know what I'm talking about... then again, I'm speaking for the American dollar.
I only know the 100 Euro Bill has a small RFID chip in it. Was tested in Scotlland after 2005. The other bills only have a barcode on them witch can be readed from close distance like when youn enter or exit from a market store.
can someone tell me how do you make a 125khz rfid reader read from several feet away?
im trying to make one, but i dont know if i should buy one with a better antenna, or does a 13.56 mghz read from farther way since it has a stronger unit??
you know, CDs when put in to an oven and heat up like that, it explode and give off some thing that looks like super charge bolt, when you take it out, the CD got crack all over it
RFID can get exploded when you heat it up like microwaves. Imagin that all human race have like RFID in their skins and the temperature was 120F.Thats what you get for implanting a chip in your body. BIG BADDA BOOM!!!
vete hacer kaka por alli y leete un poco las noticias. son los chips que llevan los billetes de euro y dolar. ala a ver su empiezas tu tambien a quemar tu billetes a ver si llevan chips jajajajaja

Umm thats a foil strip for anti counter fitting not an RFID tag as that would be much too expensive and would not be durable enough for use in currency notes.
US notes they proposed using a hologram but it failed the crumple durability test instead a plastic strip was used instead.
wow Membrane556, apparently you have not done your homework, RFID chips can be as small as the tip of a pencil, and that would not be crumblable because its too small. you might want to use a search engine to see for your self...
It's not worth the expense to put RFID chips in currency bills. The cost of making currency shouldn't exceed the value of the currency itself. Otherwise, we are trading 'commodities' (like gold coins).
The government is much better tracking credit card transactions.
mindraker1 money used to be backed by gold.dollars had this written on them:give the bearer'insert gold here' units of gold and what is wrong with commodities?sea shells were used (a LOOOOOONG time ago)and they worked.
All this means is that there's a metal in the note, you can't deduce anything else. There just so happens to be a magnetic thread (NOT an RFID) going across the note in the same place that it sparked. You'd have to check if the note emitted any radio frequencies if you wanted to prove there's a RFID in the note.
I'm assuming you think you're right because your American and not because you've ever seen a Euro note. I'm telling you there is no RFID in Euro banknotes.
They could theoreticly track them in the same way simply using the unique serial number, so why go to the expense? You're quite blind if you think the goverment needs to track banknotes to know which way you vote, I could probably make a good guess simply from your comment.
