  • Hisoutensoku's better <3

  • where bang

  • great combos but not very practical in intense matches. I personally prefer shishin' cover then mixups. is there another practical way of doing these riichi combos?

  • you can actually do them both together, I almost always end a failed mix up string into 4winds. it'll give you another shot to mix it up, you just need to be solid when you hit confirm.

  • my idea is when u stick them in the corner:

    4 winds > 6A> 5C > 2C> riichi

I always go with tsubame instead of riichi... I don't know if this works though... I'll try in training mode and tell u the results

  • Drop down with 2, land, then rising jC > ender.

  • 2 just brings me straight down, on the first one with ragna u jumped off as if u were able to choose what direction, like u jumped off the side lol

  • You have Noel listed twice, as AAC and ABC... I assume she is ABC and Bang (unlisted) is ABC?

Also, the dj j{D} falling jC... i blow it man, lol... any tip as to how i can get that more effectively?

    Nice combo...

  • Noel you can do either AAC or ABC. Bang is ACC.

The dj{D} is shorter than you think. That's the mistake I made the most when I was learning it.

  • ahhhh, ok. I'll try that out.

  • i figured it out, nevermind.

in case youre wondering, i needed to close the gap between hatsu > riichi > A > B even further by mashing the a then b as fast as possible once on the staff

  • Mashing is less effective as holding the attack button down 5~ frames prior to when the attack actually comes out.

  • does this combo require you to have forward momentum leading into the corner? because when i have staff / opponent (Jin) right in corner and i just try doing 5B 5C haku hatsu riichiA, I can only seem to get the 'A' hit off consistently. Maybe like one in 20 tries can i actually get the second 'B' hit off (if i hit with B though, then C is a given).

  • Is it the momentum of the combo leading into the corner? Or do i just have to stagger the timing of A > B a little differently? Right now I am basically going haku hatsu riichiA > A as fast as i possibly can, because otherwise I cant seem to catch Jin as hes falling down from the hatsu.

    Please advise, thx

  • There's no momentum needed, she's standing on a staff lolllll.

If you're having problems, try doing the first A later than normal. This normally helps on Jin and Nu.

  • good combos but the set up seems difficult. i mean how do i bring my opponent to the corner stafless?

  • well after a combo that ends in the corner with tsubame>6C>3C, you can choose not to send the staff flying. perhaps do a 63214B to oki them.

many of litchis combos will naturally carry them there, and the tsubame leaves the staff in place.

you can also do the great wheel special to pressure them into the corner, then as it falls hope u get the mixup and confirm into a riichi combo.

  • Almost all of Litchi's midscreen BnB's bring you straight to the corner. If you maintain the pressure once you get therethen you can start one of these. Staff gets into the position it's in by a tsubame. The hard part isn't getting them to the corner, it's keeping them there.

  • is the input 5B > 5C > haku > hatsu > 63214A > A > A >C > down > j.C > JC > D > falling j.C > 6C > tsubame > 6C > 3C?

my concern is the (im not good with names...) ippatsu hits? while on the staff is it A > A > C? i have trouble getting the C to connect if thats the case. and if i do get it to work dummy techs after D before my falling j.C.

so either its just me or its those reps while on the stick. could u clarify :3

  • See annotations. My fault for being lazy.

  • oh thanx a lot lol.

i assume carl would be aac and tager would be acc?

  • Carl the damage isn't worth, Tager there are higher damage corner combos because he's never totally in the corner.

  • Good stuff, going to have to make more of an effort to put the staff down when they're in the corner now. Of course I should have been doing that all along...
