I'm a Ron Paul fan, but I think you need to study what Libertarianism is. Ron Paul is known as the "godfather" of the Tea Party, yet you say that Paul doesn't follow the "Christian/Tea Party" agenda. Ron Paul supports the extension of the Bush tax cuts, yet you obviously hate them. I'm not saying anyone who supports Ron Paul needs to agree with him 100%, but many of your views seem to be completely liberal, not libertarian.

@SwedeKent08 I believe Ron Paul is a stable and mentally adequate candidate with some good ideas, that I support, not that I agree with his entire agenda. As for the tea party, most of its constituency isn't as intelligent as Paul is, and consists not of libertarians, but idiots. Real libertarians can tell the difference between a teabagger and a real libertarian.

1. The illuminati aren't satanists, and might not in reality even actively exist anymore.
2. There would need to be a hell of a lot more FEMA camps to do that.
3. The whole idea is ludicrous because that would collapse the economy and, therefore, the ability of the government to do such a thing.
4. The soldiers would not universally follow such orders- at least some would rebel, and the people would follow suit and overthrow the government.

I like Paul just because he will take votes from the Republican that gets the nomination. Obama isn't nearly strong enough, but really the only realistic choice is getting pressure on him by electing stronger Democrats to the congress as well as Republicans more like (and hopefully better than) Ron Paul. It's sad Wiener is gone, but his positions on Israel sucked I guess.

Hell yeah - Ron might be a bit ignorant about global economics but he's at least honest with his beliefs. I believe his views are libertarian, not based on religion. End the three wars abroad, end drug prohibition, close the loopholes and subsidies, and get china to unpeg the yuan (apparently they did).
