@tokyorealestateman Thanks for the comment, I've been to Cambodia and it's a beautiful country. As regards paper money I remeber being given enough Laos currency to fill a small briefcase in exchange for a couple of hundred dollars so its no suprise the folks in thatc part of the world are skeptical about a paper note with a leaders profile printed on it..
no real estate is bought or sold in paper money! you go to the bank, where you transfer 'digital funds' to the bank via a computer and they issue you with a 'special bond' with which you can purchase only the agreed property.
this how it is done in a vast majority of countries including all of Europe, the u.s, Canada, Mexico, Australia, newzealand etc...
interestingly as I've typed this comment (see above?), mexico was the only country that i wasn't auto corrected to start on a capital letter! and spellcheck has never heard of Newzealand!
in cambodia real estate is sold with gold--not paper money....
