@RighteousRetribution SC2 is such a widely played game because each race is equal, which makes for very interesting games where the players with the best counters, scouting, and micro/macro win, not the player with the better race. There is no OP race

Well the tables have turned. Originally the Terran had the strongest forces but the patches have officaly put the zerg on top. Kind of wish the tank had just 5 more damage.

How are you supposed to beat banelings + fungal growth ffs... you cant do shit about it yet people whine about terran being op.. terran is just mad easy and its easy to win.. if you get a skilled zerg that can abuse the hell out of banelings and fungal growth its over. terran OP my ass, zerg OP.

@RighteousRetribution TOTALLY agree with you on the fact that Terran is easy to use, which is why people say they are OP as opposed to the difficult-to-use-but-pays-off-­in-the-long-run Zerg. All you need is 1 queen per hatchery, and two hatcheries for every expo (one mining one main) and just keep suicide-bombing with your units. Eventually the other player will not be able to replenish their army nearly as quickly as you.

@RighteousRetribution Im not quite sure but cant you steal the infestors energy with the emp of ghosts? And if you line up some Siege tanks got a raven and enough view zergs cant even touch you , then you can harass him with dropships and get on equal footing , like getting as much bases as him . And cloaked banshees against them work aswell if you have some siege tanks + marauders and marines . Plus Infestors cost much and take quite some time to get out so you just have to play agressiv.

I may not have this game yet but I sometimes I think of some good ideas for some players. Like what Zerg should do sometimes is just when there main is mined out build a nytus network and then place the network where the hatchery is suppose to being a high mineral patches, or for Terran just put down turrents where the mutas keep on coming so they keep on taking damage and place some near production buildings to save them from dying.

@spartakid1130 1st idea: That requires a lot of APM, you have to command the workers to mine and return every 10 seconds (was it 10?) and when you're focused on a battle, microing then they won't bring you any income.

About the 2nd idea: Yeah, the more the better, but they're not free, and when the zerg does a tech switch, then they're useless. Putting them on the edges of your base is quite useless though, cus the zerg can just bring them from another angle and that's more wasted minerals...

@MaxFlared Ya I kinda agree. People have been saying Zerg is the least played race and Teran is the most. It's quite ironic to see the top ranked players using zerg the most % wise.

The high speed of the Zerg and the slow build times plus damage nerfs to the Terrans really seem to make Zerg a bit overpower. Probably the only good counter to Zerg for top ranked plays is someone who plays Protoss. Storm and Blink Stalkers are a good counter to zerg speed. Terrans need Thor/Siege Tank..

if anyone wanna know what the public test buffs and nerfs are is the protoss observer cost 25/75 now voidrays flux vaine upg is gone and they do 20% more damage to massive units phoenix use to take 45 now they take 35 and Hallucination research time decreased from 110 to 80. Terran bunker when back to 30 seconds just for the public test and Repairing SCVs now assume the same threat priority as the unit they’re repairing. and zerg infestor fungle growth doesnt affect air

@HDstarcraft The map is NOT "very Zerg-favored". This statement is only true in relation to the other maps in the mappool.

Scrap Station is one of the few Maps were Zerg is not on a (small) disadvantage. A zerg-favored map is a large, open map with easy expansions to take (more than 2) without island expansions and possibilities for easy dropship harras.
