I got this for christmas, and the mics inside it are great. I put it right to my front right of me on my drumset, and have it on all the mics, and it works great! I'm going to record a song with my friend soon, and have a video with the demo in it on my channel if you guys wanna hear it.

@SoundStation98 Thanks for commenting and Merry Christmas! Someone must like you for buying you an H2n. Post your music after you record it and send it to me... And as I highlighted in the this video - take it one step further with a mixer. You will be pleased with this recorder after you test its capabilities.

@dmdark Not really sure how the Zoom H1 compares, but generally when a new product comes out, there are usually improvements. I know the mics on the H2 are more robust, not to mention, there are more of them than on the previous model. Simple solution, put together a test on YouTube of your music and let’s here how the H1 sounds. The H2 also makes a great condenser mic. From what I can gather about you - you are a musician - and that’s a good thing. Thanks for commenting.
